Wait, so does this mean that even if you register on time you still have to show up 1 day earlier just to pick up a badge? Seems really inconvenient for those of us that are an hour each way drive away.
You can have a friend pick up the badges for you.
If badge pick up was the same day as Friday, the lines derail our tournament schedule. (This happened to us last year)

Hey everyone, Frenetic from STGWeekly, a YouTube show devoted to promoting shooting games aka shmups. We’ve been graciously allowed to setup in the BYOC room where we’ll be holding a free tournament/raffle. Just try your hand at a game and you’ll be entered into a raffle. The further you get after more tries, the more raffle tickets you’ll get! Will the “Spectator Pass” be a badge you wear over your neck or a wrist bracelet… or something else?
SCR is doing the character lock rule for marvel WRONG according to EVO rules.
While the winner cannot change team or order at character select screen, they are ALWAYS allowed to swap using assists during load. This was reworded for EVO 2013 upon my request with Mr.Wizard for clarity. This issues popped up when War Destroyer on stream started Nova after winning with Ghost Rider on point.
This bothers me since I misorder my teams to allow counter picks after I see their team during load. I’m always worried someone will pause on my 99 to call me on it, then have to explain the proper rule and lose my advantage on the 99.
