What if this gets so huge we have a reading rainbow related service for highschoolers and adults? Reccomendations for titles with mature themes? Partnerships with amazon/barnes & nobles? Increasing literacy across all generations? Yo, why stop?
Nah fuck dat. If niggas dont wanna read when they’re older, they dont deserve fun incentives
I never bothered with reading rainbow but then again I got dropped off at a local library to sustain me sometimes. That being said I have a friend who came from inner city origins, insert whatever ghetto here and he said reading rainbow was one of his fondest memories as a kid. The only question I pose is that in this age is this even a fruitful endeavor? Especially with the internet at the youth of the worlds fingertips. Does it even matter anymore? or is just antiquated nostalgia akin to winners dont use drugs on boot up of an arcade match of Streetfighter? Thankyou FBI director Williams. Sessions,
People still put their kids in front of the TV to watch Sesame Street.
Levar and Big Bird tag team will be too strong.
We obviously need this Kickstarter to succeed, since none of you seem to read nor can you understand and follow a Youtube video…
If anybody can stop the stupidity from spreading in this country, Levar has a really good chance. Go for it man.
I thought this guy was dead lol.
Yo you can’t do SHIT these days without some haters on your dick goddamn
Reading Rainbow was the joint!
I’ve never been a Star Trek fan but I definitely always wished that Levar would wear that sick visor for reading time.
Look at that thing! He is straight up rocking a grill piece over his eyes. So fresh! So futuristic!! So funkalitical!!! Function AND fashion.
Are your Google glasses made out of gold and platinum? Nope! That’s what I thought!
I hope they make the visor a stretch goal.
Fuck that. Stretch goals should be guest readers like Shatner and Stewart.
You are probably right. Also people read now more than ever before. You’re reading right now.
It doesn’t make any difference either. It might have if there were enough jobs out there for people that applied themselves, but there really aren’t. I always laugh when politicians babble about education and how everyone should go to college. If everyone had a college degree we would have a nation with the most educated McDonald’s cashiers and fry cooks. Actually we already have that haha. The more educated people become the more useless the degree is. Reading was probably an important skill 40 years ago, but now? Everyone knows how to read.
In the second update video I liked how Burton mentioned that a RR app and such should take a look, it’s in a root, a rooted Android
DMX Reading Rainbow video left me incapacitated for several hours, am gonna front Geordi a few bucks based on that alone.
Have you guys ever watched this when you guys were younger? This episode of this show was banned from TV and you will know why after you watch it, @Matriarch.
arthur >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>wishbone >>>>> reading rainbow

Man those mysteries were always top notch…better then the 95% slop of reality tv aimed at little kids today. PBS always always put out those shows that always made you think. My son who is only 2 is loving the Magic School Bus thank god he is enjoying those shows i grew up on.
one of the boys in ghostwriter went to rutgers while i was there. i never met him, but i knew people that dormed with him freshmen year, apparently he is/was gay.
I remember Jamal being questioned for arson. And the one episode where an Australian chick joined the team, never to be seen again. They went global, handing out those ghostwriting pens.
And Sam Jackson appearing on the show.
Fuck, that show was godlike.
The stories in his IAMA got my eyes all dusty:
I threw some ducats his way. He’s almost at 3M now.
