How does the color shop work? Do you need to have a certain lvl for the character to buy the colors or do you need to beat easy, medium, hard survival to unlock some of the other colors?

Also: why have a color shop if you first have to unlock stuff in the game to get a certain color? I just want Pink Ryu noooooow.

I got very low levels on all character but have beaten story mode and survival on every difficulty with all of them and in the store I’m able to select all colors on all characters (11 to 14).
I also got a level 45 Ryu which also can only buy colors up to 14.

So basically color 15 is not in the store and it seems to depend on your survival mode progress which ones are available.

Wait, so even buying the DLC colors requires me to beat Hard Survival? No, I don’t want to do that, fuck that. Especially since Karin’s is just that ugly ass brown color.

Why would they do that? Especially after Survival mode got the backlash it got.

for the extra colors 11-15 you need to have your char on a certain level to be able to purchase them.

I suppose his Karin might be higher level than mine, not sure how many levels it would gain by just beating hard survival, since I was level 19 or 20 by the time I was done beating her story, and easy/normal survival. I’m level 23 or something now, after playing online and beating her challenge mode. Do we know what level you unlock color 14 in the store?

its just level based but the survival mode gives you a lot of exp which level you up so thats why it might have appeared that its bound to the survival mode.

I need some help. I only see 3 alternate costumes available on the store. There’s Nash, Dhalsim, and Necalli. I really want to get bearded Ryu. Is he not available on the store?

Bearded Ryu is a premium costume that requires money/zenny to purchase and won’t be available until the Zenny store opens sometime in the near future. The only people who can use bearded Ryu are those that got one of the pre order bonuses that came with him.

The other costumes you can see in the store are most likely just story mode costumes. Those are not premium.

So I’m speculating that color 14 is available at character level 25. I have a level 28 Vega and colors 11-14 are available. My Nash however is at level 22 and only colors 11-13 are available. So 14 at level 25, and based on previous posts… 15 at 50.
