Invest in a business either by helping someone with startup or just making your own business. If you have your own business and it takes off you will have residual income, something to pass down to your kids, and I believe you get tax breaks for owning a business in certain places (Texas)
Some really great advice. Had a question of my own, for those of us not in such financial tidings, specifically credit scores, what would you or anyone else recommend for improving credit? My score now is around mid 600s is up from high 400s a year ago. Should I look to getting a regular credit card or a secured one? I have one more collection to get off my report to have zero collections which should help. Trying to break 700 by the end of the year
Im trying to make money, not lose it! i was actually planning to open up a japanese style arcade/import gaming stuff 5years ago. Olympia just has way too many laws with coin-op arcade. They treat it like they are slot machines & they tax it like it was still in the 70-80s when arcade was at its peak.
Arcade business is just not worth it, hell even people that comes over to my gatherings dont play the arcade cabs that much.
well, youāve already mentioned the one major thing holding you back, that being that collection. kill it ASAP.
after that, Iād do what Iāve been doing. buying small things on a credit card and paying it off as soon as the bill hits the box. Getting all credit cards to zero is VERY important. The next thing is to keep doing this for a while. Mine will soon be past the two year mark without a single problem on it, which is going to make it easily over 700. when that happens, Iām going to smash the last piece of debt I have so that I can get to work on investments and savings full time. This year has been cool for me money-wise, but next year is when I start seriously leveling up.
Itās an app that letās you trade stocks without paying a fee. I think itās targeted towards poor people who think they can become the Wolf of Wallstreet. It doesnāt really have strong customer support and is managed by a small staff so probably used best as a tool to play around with rather than a serious investing app.
You didnāt ask me, but you can also go to bitgold.com, buy it and they store it for you. And you can put āgoldā on a debit card that they provide and spend it however you like. I think itās the best combination of liquidity and safe haven-ness, since all of their gold is allocated and actually exists (Iām looking at you, COMEX).
Edit: Itās now called Goldmoney, not bitgold. They acquired a company and then took their name, lol.
i signed up but not really sure i want to purchase gold & not actually have it on hand.
I forgot i actually have some silver already. i have 360 silver coins. Do you guys think thatās enough to have for when shit hit the fan on economic collapse?
damn. pretty shitty IMO. people are gonna be needing dat tech gadgets in the future too. I personally want to get into some 2m or 3m ish so that I can build the proper skinware for people of our stature.
Some random shit Iāve seen online for you investment peoples.
