Anyone with a small business, how do you deal with chargebacks? I’ve been paying affiliates pay per click commission and it’s been working out well, but recently i’ve been receiving a lot of buys from random third world countries which end up getting charge backed after my warehouse ships and I’m stuck eating it + paying the affiliate commission.
Now do I pay the affiliate who referred the purchase or do I stiff him because I got stiffed? I’m thinking about just not accepting sales from anywhere in Africa, Central/South America, or Asia since that is where all the fraud seems to be coming from.
The smallest I had a court settlement over was $3,000. That should give you some idea of what they’re looking for. If the amount is much smaller I can’t see it being profitable to go that route.
Well it’s about 3,000 combined, over three ccs my mom(yeah) ran up, and she saddled me with the debt, so yeah, I’ve gotten offers to stop the increases on the payment and pay it down over a set period, but didn’t have a job at the time to take advantage of the offers, but I’m certainly gonna do that now, as I don’t want it to get to that court point, when I’m also paying off for my car. :X
Why would you pay an affiliate for a nonexistent sale? Hell, most regular sales jobs that pay commission have a chargeback or cancellation provision for that very reason.
Well the affiliates get paid once a month, charge backs come like 60 days later. I just give some company like 20k and they have people set up the ad campaign, $0.75 for lead so i guess i’m only out 75 cents and the profit margin on the stuff is ridiculous high but still sucks
i’m new to this usually i’m on the other side with regards to internet
I went through Aceturnedjoker’s facebook on xbox recently and I notice this dudes house  Wow just wow. Hey Ace if you can man post at least one pic of this house. That should get these people boiling to get right makes those moves

i dont know if i should just stick with accounting or fucking change. if i change, am i wasting fafsa money and as well as my time?
this is my 2nd yr at CC. any help is appreciated. no joke, im in need of help. these several weeks, i’ve been nothing but feeling depress and stressed out. :(:sad:
This is true with most degrees I think. I didn’t even have a choice of a real major until passing college algebra. Bite the bullet, it does get a lot easier as you go.
here is how you find out if you are meant to be an accountant or not.
Find a corner with no windows and sit in front with a math book or accounting books with no windows. Start working problems from the books for 3 hours each day, five days a week. If you can not do it, you will not do it for 60 hours a week times X years.
But honestly if you do not like math, finance, economics, accounting, anything outsides the bio sciences, is not for you.
If you owe credit card (or any) debt for too long, the credit card company can
seek payment by sueing you by having a lawyer order that a levy be put on your bank account(s). The bank, by law, has to freeze your account(s). The CC company can’t take your money, but you won’t have access to your account until you work out a payment plan with them and have the levy removed.
Do you have a set group of affiliates that you do business with, or does it vary with every purchase?
In my case, I like math a lot. I like the practical application of it, that is I could give a flying fuck about how long it will take two trains to meet each other in a certain town if they leave at a certain time, but I loooooove compound interest. However, I spent a lot of time failing because I wasn’t dedicated to the work it requires to master it. Things changed for me when I got very aggressive about staying current on my homework assignments. I spent a lot of late nights, and a lot of early mornings, but did not allow my grade to fall. I went from an F student to an A and it was only a matter of committing to it and being honest with myself.
I realized being successful with math is about repetition. I think about the time you finish the higher algebra you should be in a comfort zone with it, and have a positive attitude about the more advanced courses. By that point your foundation should be built. Your choices for a career will be much more flexible as a result.
Keep your eye on the future goal and believe that you can achieve it. If you continue to work towards it, you will. Lastly, if you need help, get it. Seek tutoring if you can, and in the extreme if you think you are failing math because of something like ADD, don’t be afraid to ask a doctor. Use every resource, they exist to help you.
It doesn’t, but it requires a certain amount of math as prerequisites.
Accounting isn’t about the math, though. It’s about having the right information and processing it the right way. You’re not going to be using stuff harder than basic multiplication and division. The only thing hard about accounting is all the little variables that can affect costing processes.
Basically, if you can handle being a human computer, accounting’s for ya.
It’s not going to make you yank out your TI-81 graphing calculator to find the sine coefficient of the right angle or whatever. You’ve got to be math savvy, though. And indeed, accounting is like 85% monotony and 15% critical thinking. Thing is that you’ll get a job out of college without even trying, even in this shitty-ass economy. A lot to be said for that.
i understand accounting doesnt involve high lvl math. but what i fucking hate is that i gotta take 10 classes of math cuz i fucked up on my placement test. i went to ask if i could jump 2-3 math lvls but the class i need to get into, is the bitch that doesnt seem to like me cuz she think im a slacker or w/e… so fucking annoying… old bag…
