Justin only plays 3s. I believe Jason’s thoughts on st are “fuck that game”. He’s playing a little marvel now though, don’t know if he’s picked up anything else.
Jason could probably play a decent game in st. He’s very consistent with what he does at least. He very rarely fumbles juggles or combos.
I was bummed to find out too late about kuenai + others going to gw. I would have gone, but I rarely find myself on srk so I missed out.
Last thursday was insanely cool. I know a lot of people think that there needs to be more top tier play in general but we has the top 3 covered between Jason, Justin, and me. Justin was playing ken, Jason was chun, and I was rocking with my terrible yun.
there was also a decent turnout for 3s last night. Hope to see similar results next week.

New bar opens the 20th. Shit is top tier.
Got 8 dartboards and the Derby units upstairs, 2 WAAY too close together pool tables as well.
Bar has a freakin lounge and about a dozen or so high def plasmas. Totally different feel to that area, to say the least.
Getting rid of a few older games, word on the street is that the games we suggested are being seriously looked into. Which is very cool. The Bemani games are being played THROUGH THE ROOF. From both casuals and those goddam freaks who draw crowds alike. I LOVE it when the play rate for a game that is entirely in Japanese outperforms our old most-played…by a wide margin.
Plus we are going to give the rest of the venue a facelift after the bar open. Trust me. You’ll walk into the Pike entrance and say jeesus.
The VF5 Lindbergh still sits lonely, though. But it’s strange times at work.
