The money match with Brian went down yesterday, causing us to miss Gameworks. We started at 6:30, and thought we’d be done by 8:00 to make it there, but we ended up finishing at around 10:00 due to our dinner break. The stakes were ft50 for $5, a little higher than planned because 50 games of Marvel is a lot of work. I etched out a victory by the score of 50-29. Afterwards we played some casuals – the final score was 52-23.
The bad thing is that he knows all my resets/mixups now, so if he faces me in a tournament, it’s anyone’s game.
