They haven’t done the time card system in a while. Only time cards now are on thursdays and that monday service something. I remember when it used to be 1 hr for $10, 2 for $20, and 3 for $25, but I think people abused the system by swiping the cards for credits and then playing after their time expired.

Word Rob, http://www.gameworks.com/survey.php is the url. I used it as the subject title on my post so I"m not surprised it was missed (no sarcasm).
I seriously DID talk to a Sega corporate guy and it seems thier focus is that Xtreme Hunting 2 game.
T_T!
Also… my main point is that: here in Seattle, we’re practically screwed. Reson is that we really don’t 'ave anywhere else to go.
If I made twice my salary I’d start a place for you guys. It’ll be a while until I reach that pay scale. =/
Same here. I used to play it scrub style when 4 came out, with my friend… but all I did was whore all of Kage’s fancy flip kicks. They just look cool, I’m sure a lot of them suck.
See, the plan is we have to get an SRK fund. I’d donate.
Co sign.
I sent a survey into Gameworks basically telling them to try to expand or update their fighting games (and rhythm games); something tells me it won’t matter at all, but we can at least try.
It won’t matter. Because in all honesty, the games we love are 6+ years old, why would they focus on that? They’ll focus on the newest games, despite how much they suck (Buck Hunter is a prime example)
I hate to say all this, but that’s just the way it is. =\
Realistically, almost any other game should get played more than SvC. They definitely should replace that awful POS. You could even put in a nostalgia game like Super Turbo and probably pull in more plays… =\
You and your SvC:Chaos hate.
But I agree, something should replace it like CvS2, ST, GG Slash, NGBC something alittle newer and more played.
But, I doubt any of this’ll happen.
Hey, I did take top 10 at the only major SvC tourney I’ve ever heard of. :bgrin:
It’s just really not interesting at a high level - Zero’s infinite owns everybody. I really wanted it to be good, but it’s got the lowest level of interest of any SNK or Capcom game I know of. Which is sad, since we want Gameworks to have good stuff.
Least it’s not the CvS1 machine at the B&I, it’s a 4 button cab for a 6 button game. :wonder:
They do have just about every SF2 port though, MK1-3, Dark Stalkers 1 and MvC2. And the bad ass dual screen 6 man X-Men game. xD
GameWorks needs VF5, latest GG, CvS2, ST, HyperFighting, SSTenka and KOFXI…VF2 as well.
I can drean can’t I?!?!
Anyone know of places to get a PS2 modded or do I gotta through the internet for that. Thanx in advance.
Pink Godzilla in Seattle.
Seriously.
CvS fucking 2 is what the Northwest needs more of.
People in Olympia are playing it hella.
Oh how I miss Lanwerx…
-Seeing randomly bomb/cute girls in an arcade just chillin, playing CS.
-Playing Marvel/3S/CvS2/KOF until like 3 in the morning.
-For a QUARTER no less.
-NWR, nuff said.
-Watching OAQS become everyone’s personal bitch in Marvel 2.
-Monthly tourneys.
-Bust A Move on the SNK cabinet in the far corner.
oh how I miss Lanwerx…
And wishing i can be apart of that! drools
To be honest, they aren’t even really focusing on the newest games either. Gamewoarks seems to be doing everything it can to not pick up any games, regardless of freshness.
Corporations should jus learn to stay out of “fun”. Mixing business and pleasure is costly and inefficient.
Le Sigh
One thin I DON’T miss is getting straight SLAGGED by ever Tekken player evar becuase I was newXcore.
Other than that, I’m pourin a forty for that place.
Need help?
