Wow, all y’all hatin’ on Sally Cahill. She was a beast as far as announcers go. I couldn’t imagine MvC1 with a different announcer.
The announcer for MSH vs. SF (name escapes me right now) was pretty decent though. His “are you ready true believer?” speech in the intro was a little too cheesy though.

Totally agree with you on both of those. Also, to those who think that the announcer for Alpha 3/Zero 3 is better, what have you been smoking (or drinking)? The Announcer for Alpha 2/Zero 2 is much better than him when it comes to that series.
The announcer for Capcom Vs. SNK 2, I don’t know what to think.
I though the SF4 anouncer was great. He really sounded he could imagine nothing beautiful than a good street fight. The SuperSf4 anouncer is awful; he should announce at Pro Wrestling or a monster truck rally, not a martial arts tournament.
My absolute favorite fight game announcer was the Soul Calibur 2 announcer. He didn’t just announce he told a story!

Anyone notice that there seems to be a second female announcer in the Thor and Amaterasu videos. At first I thought it was Issun (your companion in Okami) talking for Ammy, but it seems that “Issun” is talking in matches without her as well.
