I’m gonna go through and put the penultimate thread back together once they’re done fixing their ‘update’. Need to find some way to fix the links, too…
Otherwise, it’s mostly just the spoilers and links atm.

Yeah, format change was annoying, removed a lot of links and notation. If you guys need some help, just let me know.
A friend of mine showed me some new (To me at least) tech at Final Round. He does a meaty stand h on incoming characters and depending on the timing it can hit on either side. Anyone mess with this? It kind of looks like the mixups Hulk and Skrull can do, but maybe a bit better since we can always MFC it and make it safe.
Use it rarely, you’ll get blown up more than you’ll successfully mix someone up with that…
Sounds Footdive-able/helm-breakable to me. I didn’t think st.H hit high enough to be meaty on incoming?
I don’t think so, st.H has a surprisingly crappy hitbox (why no hitbox near her claws capcom ? )
cr.H has an amazing hitbox, at least. Full body ftw.
^
Shrinks her body too. Shame it’s so slow. And lol@that avatar btw, it’s cute.
Lol, thanks. I needed to get rid of that Dante/Morrigan avatar since I decided I should stay with my real team. Oddly, there’s not much X23/IM/RR artwork out there atm, so I decided to make one. I’m pretty pleased with how it came out. :3
Anyone been implementing the CS alpha counter into their game at all? I always thought it was the same as H-Scythe, and therefore hard to combo off of, but it actually seems to hit differently.
Random racoon/x23 dhc, I don’t know if it’s new but It looks cool and I haven’t seen it anywhere
Something cool I found during FR, you can link WXP > Mad Hopper L+H > hard tag back to X23 (or anyone else)> Full combo. Also, there’s the old bear trap > Log Trap > Mad Hopper > hard tag > combo option in the corner also.
I would LOVE if people could help me optimize my combos. I’m slowly approaching 800k with 1 meter
I think the only way you’re going to see a drastic change in damage at this point is by switching over to the HxxCS loops. What you have now is probably close to optimal as far as meter gain goes though.
Past that, the only think that might be worth looking into is maybe doing a staircase from grounded hits since Tasky arrows don’t put them in a juggle state. I haven’t messed around with that in a long time, though (and I doubt that it’s more damage than doing the beam bounce variant you’re using now, anyways.)
Def check out luis loops if you are looking for raw power, the problem with jump loops is that they aren’t meant to be all that damaging.
Aside from that, you should still be killing most of the cast off the Tasky DHC (up arrows) so I wouldn’t concern myself much (unless I was fighting Tasky or a good Thor). Even with jump loops I can still manage around 822k net one bar, so maybe it’s just your assist selection from mine.
I remember running Task with X23 before and Task’s Up Arrow has issues connecting on DHC after Rage Trigger. Because of the inconsistency of Task’s DHC I replaced him. Anybody else have that issue?
I ran X23/Task/Doom really early on in vanilla and don’t recall having that problem. Were you having issues midscreen or in the corner?
Most of the time X-23’s combos should be corner carrying, so Tasky’s arrows wouldn’t be an issue even if you wait until all of X-23’s super hits. If you’re not in the corner, then yeah you have to cut X-23’s rage trigger short or else up arrows wouldn’t connect all the way (if at all). It’s a matter of preference and possible team composition, but I’d suggest doing horizontal arrow super because I’d want most of Tasks’s arrows to hit plus you might want to play the zoning game with him anyways, so you’d want them off you.
**Yea That is exactly what was going on. It sucked midscreen, that was a while ago though. I haven’t used Task in a long time.
Hey, does anybody know of a single combo for X-23 to build 2 meters before Rage Trigger to open with? So that I can get to 3 meters as fast as possible hopefully with just one combo. Is it possible? Because I want to be able to DHC twice through Skrull and on to Frank for the Rage Trigger xx Inferno xx whiff-Lv5 Frank in one combo in the beginning of a match. I guess it would depend on my opponents health too… Dang. Might not be possible on some characters.**
X23 can just barely build 2 meters with 2 relaunch assists. By herself she build a little over 1.
