Doesn’t pikachu play thor/x23? He uses might spark assist because you can relaunch with it. I think two beams would be good for her and his tornado dhc is good for her since she pops them up so high. I don’t play thor but maybe you can get a lot off of that.
I think you can only get a pick up with that assist in the corner. (that’s all i tried when i was practicing with him). and actually i was wrong before, an otg assist would be good for him. Also, i think Mighty Smash as a CC is better than his beam assist.
I was practicing Thor/X-23/Strange and i found some decent stuff i think. Def a specialist team but i think it can work (got some stuff on my next video!)
Does anyone here have match up experience against Chris? specifically Chris/Doom (Rocks)/Strider? i was playing ChrisD and i just couldn’t get to him because of the flame grenades and rocks snuffing out my dash attempts.
Unfortunately i have no in game footage to show, but pretty much just imagine my characters being trapped by grenades and me derping around due to being hungover + having no practice that day. All ChrisD told me was to snipe Strider, although tbh Vagra wasn’t really a problem for me.
Also i’m thinking of joining the dark side and picking up Satan (Vergil). Kinda thinking of X-23/Vergil/Doom just so that the team order can still work after swords comes out (Vergil/X-23/Doom) I kinda wanna play x-23 as a bootleg wolverine with more options (not as easy options, but they’re still there.)

It was a pretty bad performance on my part (dropped a lot of combos, got TAC instead of something else a lot, etc) the whole vlog is awesome too and it can also summarize my experience there as well (the biggest tournament i’ve went too next to GUTS/ECT. first one i slept overnight at instead of commuting back) So if you have time i would recommend checking the whole video out. (My match is at 8:30)
It looks like Merkyl’s videos are private on YT now. I was trying to figure out the fairly simple TA M corner carry, anybody have the inputs?
Also thoughts on x-23, doom(beam), ammy?

sk, combo hard tag dante meter build potentially 2 meters xfactor to kill meterlessly
repeat except since dante has lots of meter million dollars into ll for kill. with 2 assists should build 1.5 each time time you tag in dante
Found a way to do a meaty dirtnap off solo x23 instead of constantly risking to try and time the character coming in, this works right on time. Doesn’t matter if your opponent blocks and XF cancels or tries to grab or tries to super or tries to helm breaker/foot dive. Only character I’ve found to get out is strider, but the funny thing is strider can’t get out all the time. His timing has to be strict. Idk if it’s a glitch with strider or not.
If you guys can improve on this that would be awesome, tired of getting punished from a dirtnap that’s suppose to be guaranteed.
*obv sentinel hard drive and morrigan’s lvl 3 can get out. But it hits so meaty the incoming character can’t even begin their incoming sentence
@QuasiDomo : Why the body hop? Shouldn’t the hitboxes be the same if we did MF L xx Dirt Nap > CS L xx TA M without the risk of having the opponent come out midscreen on wierd/bad timings on super kills?
Also, not sure about the height difference, but you could probably use the buffer / hornet cancel trick and do CS M xx Instant TA M.
On snaps, I still use snap > Silent Kill > CS H xx Dirt nap. Don’t think I’ve missed that in probably a year, but if they take the hit it makes it hard to get the dash L conversion off it.
I’ll definitely fuck around with this tonight and see how it goes, though.
Might be worth checking storm, too. Iirc, her hurtbox is higher than other character on incoming.
@ctr973: the ammy grab stuff was actually one of the special combos in the Vanilla marvel guide, lol. Like all the vids you’re putting up, lately. I’ve got a new Mags > X23 DHC ender to put up sometime. Also, checked Mags level 3 and it’s a no go after a staircase S. Even trying some of the more obscure options like s.S sj.MdH s.MH xx MF H to get the best possible hard tag height didn’t help. 
@ogrekillers: From what I’ve seen, Hard Tag Dante stuff only work in XF2+ and even then, X-23 has better meter build in that circumstance. Would be nice to get Dante enders off her but I haven’t found one yet.
Also, you guys should check out the r/MvC3 reddit. That’s where most of the X-23 player are these days.
The body hop at first was just me trying to create a corpse hop mixup (a true mixup since x23 is invisible). They really won’t know what side they’ll end up on. But now that I think of it if you do it in the order that I did it in, it’s other advantage is that all the moves I’m doing line up with the time between when the character dies and when the next one comes in. Maybe doing a MF L like you said may work also try it out. When you test this out, if you see in the vid doom can’t even come in after the first syllable of his entrance, that’s how quick and meaty it is. If you can do it faster than that that’s awesome, post that shit up! Lol
All in all, doing it this way makes it a true mixup bc they can’t see you, and it matches the duration of the transition time doing away with having to time the lvl3 which is a big problem with x23 players trying to finish the match with a solo dirtnap
So Dante can’t combo with cold shower after a launcher hard knockdown into hard tag even tho its only 1 frame slower than doom st.M? Is there any way to lessen hitstun by cutting short the combo then?
I’m not sure it it’s because he flexes longer than doom or that X-23 can’t get any further below them before the hard knockdown.
I’ve messed around with the Doom otg and I can hit that, but I’ve only been able to hit the Dante hard tag with XF2. In either case, you can only hit those staircase > hard tag near the corner and off of bad starters. It’s really not even worth the effort since any good X-23 team should be 300% off of a TAC (and even then, ideally, X-23 shouldn’t be on point), or using XF2 to loop and dirt nap the 3rd with JS anyways.
@QuasiDomo X23 gets the dash L followup in the corner after a dirt nap so that’s vastly preferred to a midscreen dirt nap. Also, it’s an unblockable, why bother with making it a mixup, too? In either situation they would want to be plink air dashing up-forward out of the corner or up-back from midscreen so it’s not like it makes their options any better.
Lastly, the timing you have only works if it kills with that specific timing after the OTG. If it killed with the last hit of RT or at the top of SJ height from a CS, that same sequence wouldn’t work the same.
At the end of the day, this might just mean we need to have timed sequences for all of those situations. That’s a lot of work, though.
Great finds! I’m going to try and find ways to streamline this to make it easy. I’ll post when I’ve found it. There’s gotta be a way to do without having to time the next incoming character
