This one isn’t really ready but I’d like to get a little bit of input on it… I’m not sure I am 100% happy with it. Though I do like her more monstrous features; huge hands and feet.

Took a quick shot at it, 'bout an hour. Haven’t CG’d in a while so I figured it would be fun practice. Nice sketch btw.

Left most of the original lines in, thought they looked better since you went through the trouble of adding them in. Hair contrast got a little messed up when I was playing with the adjustments though and obv I saved over my old file like a champion.

Sorry didn’t get around to coloring this until today and then I ran out of time, posting as-is for now. I did make a video for you though but it’s gunna take two hours to just to render it so I’ll have to do that tomorrow, but I’ll PM you the link when the vid is up.

can you share some tips on using Paint Tool Sai? I bought it a while ago, but never touched it, X_X. Like a tutorial lol?

I also own OpenCanvas, and barely touched :sweat:.

lol thanks. I’ve never been asked before so I don’t have anything atm. All I have is some videos. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult to find some on deviant-art or pixiv or nico/youtube. I mean, I guess I could make something but I’d feel like a poser hypocrite lol. If you’re on IRC or AIM or something we can chat about it? lol

Also I can understand not touching OpenCanvas. I’m told that all the pros/amateurs use Corel Painter and/or Photoshop. Sai just happens to be a fad among pixiv amateurs (but I personally like Sai a lot).

Sai is better for line art in my opinion and for very specific coloring, ie your style.

OpenCanvas is well rounded. I own Painter IX, but played with very little, needs dedication, and since my background is more technical my army knife is photoshop. But even then I need to play with it.

My main issue, I been meaning and have all the gear to be a professional artist, but have yet to actually apply myself, but we shall def get on aim, I need to get moving!

My forte is hardware, so guess you can ask me questions on that :smokin:
