I’m really impressed with this. I’ve been having a hell of a time learning Blender, you’ve inspired me to keep hacking away at it. Keep it up.
While that leilei mesh looks fine in ut2 and similar engines, it’s absolute crap in anything that uses a normal map. So, I am starting over quickly with a retopo job! Here I am so far with this “next gen” version.
No bow because i’m going to make that optional. Her hat will also be optional as well as the bow on her hat and her pants will be optional and her shoes will have another choice and maybe her face. Early concepts didn’t specify the bottoms she wore, so i’m probably going to go for the highleg judging from what’s exposed in the burned sprites.
New chest topology. I enabled all-edges so the face is seen a bit better. Let’s see how this model looks in comparison by the time DS4 reveals her?

Damn is that blender? I’ve been trying to figure out how to texture in Maya+Photoshop and that looks waaaaaay easier!
