lol, Thats the spirit!
Any way possible we can get a 2nd setup going on in there? With this many people and the fact that we have to spend money, we should really try and minimize the downtime.
Some TvC would be cool, as i’ve been dying to check this game out. Have my Wii stick coming next week.
I was thinking the same thing myself. Maybe like having the main projector, and than two smaller tv’s?
I’ll have to check with Max and see if we can do a second tv setup. I’ll let you guys know what he says.
Also, Nefarsus, how much were you planning on selling you ps3 te stick for?. I have a friend who is interested on buying it.
sent messages to Outphasen and Satanic…hopefully they reply back.
man im getting so hyped up for the game to drop.
I have my own projector I could possible bring, I usually don’t like to bring it to many places because I don’t want to break it. I used to have TVs back in the day…
check your Inbox Revy…outphasen was telling me about the crazy lag they have on the projector at NERV center. So that might be something ppl keep in mind when going. I’ll prolly still go (if everyone is still game) just to see how things go, and if it’ll be a place worth going to again.
But i know they’re PC-orientated at NERV center, so they might not have the kinda setups we’d need to have a good event.
On the other hand…the Cyberdome in Easton is a Console-only lan center that I’ve been to before and its lovely there. No lag, lots of TV setups with 360’s and they hosted the first (and only) tournament I’ve seen in the Lehigh Valley.
So if Nerv center doesn’t work out…cyberdome would be a good place to check out, as well as the Encounter place you mentioned Revy.
I’ll be testing it out tomorrow night. If it’s laggy, maybe we can rent a room there and bring our own equipment. I would like to try this place in easton after super drops.
Hi everyone, I’m new here. I live in Bath (about 10 minutes away from Bethlehem) and it’s cool to know that others play in this area! I’ve never met anyone that also plays, when I talk about the game to people in my school they usually have never heard of it… (I’m only 15 btw.) I’ve been to the Encounter a couple times to buy some comics and it seems like a pretty cool place. Anyway, keep representing!!
Hey. Im in wescosville. Big into BB, GG(despite not being real practiced at it) and starting to pick up SFIV. Im gonna do my best to be at nerv on sat. for a bit to meet some more people in this area.
Hey yo,
Thought you guys might be interested in dis…
We played on it once when they first opened and I do not remember any significant lag. I have seen many things from halo to DDR to rockband all with just as strict timings as fighting games played on it. I would assume that they would understand that they need as little lag as possible for it to be a viable video game option.
That was a long time ago. He could’ve replaced it with a new hd projector. Plus our understanding of input lag was different. What we considered insignificant then could be unplayable now.
I do understnad that, I do remember him saying the first projector he bought was HD and unless it went bad I dont think he would have replaced it.
As far as lag we played awhile and no one noticed any SIGNIFICANT lag. Games like DDR and Rockband are far more sensitive to input lag then any fighting game. They can at least be adjusted for were fighting games do there non-linear game play can not.
So is there going to be a second tv rig? I wanna know what equipment I should bring.
Just got my TvC stick. Very sexy, glad to have it in my collection. Didn’t know it came with the arrow dust washer. Just need to buy the game now. Anyone interested in playing?
Revy, when are you heading over to Nerv? I might try to at least stop by. If they have a new projector, it might not lag. The last time I was there though, it was crazy laggy (playing iidx, requires super strict timing).
i have a feeling TvC is gonna fall by the wayside once MvC3 comes out.
I have a hunch that the game will be more like TvC then SF4, and since no one really has a wii, Marvel will take over.
so enjoy that TvC while it’s still relevant:) I’d like to play, but with Super coming out my interest in the game is minimal.
I’d definitely be up for some TvC, btw what system are were playing on mainly? I hope to go MvC3 is very similar to TvC would definitely love it.
Also anyone score a copy of Super early? if so where?
