If it’s possible make it out to the Encounter great matches in all those games except for BB no one plays that game
bring a setup and play BB i know there are ppl who would play but noone brings setups anymore so we have 3 maybe 4 and then ppl will only get to play the bigger stuff

Old(relatively) fart from the Calibur 2 days checking in. I heard tell of events going down at the Encounter, and found this thread. I’m just down Union over in Bethlehem. Focusing on Skullgirls and SCV only for the moment, but I’ll try just about any game for no frills fun.
Hey what’s up guys? I just dusted off my fight stick and AE. Haven’t played in an insanely long time. I’m in a shitty spot and am forced to sell my Magic collection off to keep my car, so that’s a hobby I unfortunately have to take a break from. So back to fighting games it is for me. I actually just picked up Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. This game is pretty awesome. It doesn’t have a crazy in depth system, but it’s actually a great fighting game. Has anyone else checked this out? I really would love to get in depth with it and play it seriously. Would be cool to maybe get a tournament down the line if people got interested in it. Any Naruto fan will definitely fall in love with it, but even if you’re not this game has a good amount to offer. The game has a 1v1 and 3v3 similar to MvC, but the 3v3 your partners are only for support. 1 Offense Slot, 1 Defense slot, so a character does 2 different things depending on which slot he is in. I’m hoping a thread or forum can be made dedicated to it. Considering TvC has a forum here and that game is dead, I don’t see why this one can’t get one. Naruto being one of the biggest animes ever should draw in enough players, let alone what the game itself offers. Hope to hear back from some of you! Hope everyone is doing well.
Where are all the Lehigh Valley fighting gamers hanging out at? Me and a couple of friends play a bunch of different fighting games and we’re looking for other players as well to get a local scene going.

There is bi-weekly tourney/session on fridays at The Encounter in allentown. 3 dollar venue fee which is really reasonable compared to other places. I have not been up there in a bit since I have no license atm but will return.

Yo, yeah I’m back for a little while, not sure how long. Have you got TT2 yet? The PSN netcode is surprisingly decent. I’m not going to bother going to the Encounter since I still don’t play SF/MVC or whatever’s popular now.
We play Blazblue, Persona 4, and a bit of StreetFighter 4. We’re by no means amazing at any of them.
