On another note, I just received my ASCII optical, and JLF, and PS2 adapters. Waiting on my 2nd Namco, which really needs a lot of work. But I’m going to sanwa mod this optical, and plug it into the Namco. Can’t wait to get this stick and polish her up. Fairly soon, I’m going to start advertising stick mods, so if anyone needs anything done, let me know. I’ll give a better rate for LV crew.
Wow so the Namco just came in. Shipped from New Mexico on Thursday or Friday. Surprised it came so quickly. Just need the yellow OBSF’s. Can’t wait to fix her up.

Just got back myself. I didn’t do too well. I aint one to make excuses, but I was so beat by the time I played it wasn’t even funny. I didn’t even stay for my 2nd match i was so tired.
I had a great time though, just waiting around for 7 hours to play killed my performance.
I had the most fun routing for you Josh. You did a great job and I think it’s safe to say you made all of the Lehigh players proud with your top 32 finish.
Hope you didn’t mind me shouting out tips during your matches. I was hyped for you though.
we definitely need to go to a smaller tournament soon. I think we’d all have an even better time.
So yeah, props to everyone that came, Levi, Bread & Butter (Brent and Brian, lol), Chris “my sticks broken” Bakuryu, Dave “U-turn” Eronios, EvoJosh and Josh’s Friend. it was great to be there with a group I practice with.
Basically what he said Josh made us all proud. Tournament could have been run better and in a place that wasn’t a thousand degrees. btw Phatal love the nicknames, I would also excepted Chris “Dude Salty” Bakuryu lol.

Sorry to hear you had to go before your next match Phatal. Next time hope things go better cause I know your Bison has what it takes to rep Lehigh as well. I don’t mind you shouting out tips by the way lol cause support from some friends helps alot more than it can hurt. Also keep up the good work Chris you definitely looked like you got better out there during your matches. Losing is an important part to getting better and improving your game so keep at it man. But yeh taking a break this summer so i’ll be free up for tourney’s or get together’s whenever it’s convenient for you. Keep it up though guys Lehigh has what it takes!

I think the only thing that ran well there was the brackets themselves everything else was executed horribly. I mean the first bracket started at 4 the second should started at 4:05 not 4:20…
Phil I feel bad for cause man we left at 8:30 tired and drained and he had to try and play like that and all but unpracticed at that point.
I’m sure things will be better next time around dakko though I kinda agree some things could have been done a lil better. Also congratz on your win as I said before losing only helps. I would like to hope it would be better next time. If next year revy said goin to ECT? and said it was at the same place i would quickly say no.
They spelled Trexlertown wrong -_- should of told them Breinigsville and see if they could spell that right. I want more practice, but I hate online. I really need to work on my combos and make sure I can always do them in a match I drop them constantly.

Anyway, I live near SBurg area - I know some SF heads that go from here to Scranton so we can all hang out and game or something.
I play Super Turbo / HDR and 3S as my mains. CvS2 and MvC2 (my best game actually) are seconds. I don’t have any next gen consoles, but I do play SSF4 when I get the chance to.
Sup Op31n2 It’d be cool if you would be able to attend the next get together or tourney whenever that may be. I mainly play SSF4 but I also play Super Turbo / HDR and 3rd Strike. I also own MVC2 on xbox but i’m not very good lol. I also play DOA4 but im pretty sure most people here don’t :sad:.
It’s cool man. I’ll keep updated with this thread and whatnot. I played SSF4 once so far - I hate SF4… but I liked the newer version. Hawk and Juri feel like Street Fighter characters to me and not shithead characters. I mean, in SF4, Claw and Blanka were slow… wtf is that? Whatever, I’ve ranted for a year about that game. lol.
Who was that dude I met at Phatal’s place back in March? I forget… we played some 3S and CvS2… Then I wrecked some house in like 3 games of MvC2 and we went to SF4 and I did decently.
BTW- you can call me “tempest” - Opus 31 number 2 is Beethoven’s Tempest Sonata, but Tempest was already taken as a user name.
I’m not sure what the people around here have planned cause I usually let them come up with the ideas and I tag along lol. I understand what you mean about claw being slow also. I use him in SF2 as well and the transition was hard. Gotta say though that its been kinda fun playin Vega as a low tier though because now people like to see him fight instead of complaining about how good he is haha. We’re always looking for new people to rep lehigh or Pa in general so looking forward to seeing if your able to attend whatever is planned next.
