Was looking around for left handed sticks and couldn’t find any besides the Qanba Q2 Pro, but that’s not gonna work out for very long as SFV is on the way for PS4. Anyone know of any other left handed sticks? (would prefer not to mod)

Nope, you got to mod or make a custom

Aren’t all sticks held in the left hand? If you mean you’re looking for a stick where the lever is on the right, just don’t bother.
I’m right handed and i use my left hand to make complex motions with the stick yet i can do it just fine. There re thousands of people who use arcade sticks and some are right-handed, others are lef-handed and they can do it just fine. Just learn it the standard way.

I know i didn’t answer your question, so here it is. No, either mod or make one yourself.
Alternative is playing crosshanded like Seth Killian did.

There are this

and this

You still need to mod them for PS4 use.

Just my $0.02 ,

I know the OP said he’d prefer not to mod a stick, but couldn’t he just flip a buddy’s stick around and move the quick disconnect wires from their current inputs to a left-handed mapping/layout (to see if he liked it first).

*** I understand that not all fightsticks have quick disconnects for their joysticks. ***

A less ghetto, but still super ghetto easy method of doing this would be something like taking the turbo panel off a TE and just flipping over the steel plate so the artwork goes on the inside until you get a feel for if you like it before you build one. That way you at least keep the same button layout.

Cant do that because the joystick mounts would be sticking out towards you and he wont have a way of mounting the stick.

Didn’t think about that. Yeah, my idea wont work lol.

Hey @H3ADBANG4L1F3 or any other lefty players out there, can you tell me if you guys’ setups in the past were like my example earlier or if it’s completely a mirror of a righty layout, e.g. other than just moving the stick to the other side, the buttons go from heavy attacks on the outside and progressing to lighter attacks as you move to the middle of the stick.

Just curious about left brain / right brain stuff as it applies to the FGC

Middle layer of the stick would have plastic in the way.

See how its shape to accommodate the Joystick and buttons, you have to trim all that plastic out first.
Please note the stick in this photo is upside down. And no you can just swap the top and bottom metal panels, the screw pattern does not match.

Another TE rightside up

What you could do with a Mad Catz TE (if you cut out the middle layer) or a Hori Hrap 1,23 or EX is get a replacement plexy panel from Art Hobbies

Use the Custom Panel Builder to make a “Left-Handed” or mirrored layout.
