He’s an assassin hero. Ability to move through units? Extra damage every 10 sec? Kill Line of Sight? Block spell (aka stuns or slow on gank) AND get bonus attack speed? Close fear so he gets more free hits?
That’s an assassin in every word.
Boots (depending on team), Ghostblade, Banshees, Frozen Mallet (Madreds if they are tanky), and Starks (maybe a black cleaver).
You can throw in an IE or something but Brutalizer is stupid good. If he has jungle stats then Madres all day erraday.
Oh… my… god… the Spectre (Sand Wraith in HoN) my favorite hero of all time finally made it to LoL. If he is anything like his Dota counter part I finally found my hero.
So I’ve decided to say fuck it. I’m tired of how low bads have dropped my elo, I’ll play whatever champ I need to even if I hate them to get back up to where I can actually fill out the team comp because people aren’t retarded.

If you notice the spell icons are not even his lol! He also never gets focused in team fights. He’s going to be nowhere near as good when he is released. You can also try him out if you go to PAX East.

lol yeah, they always have filler icons during the spotlights too. I’m surprised they had his character portrait, that one is usually the filler.
I’ve realized I need to stop playing every character under the sun and actually stick with somebody.
I used to main Garen but…he’s unplayable now. I don’t want to build some tanky killstealing asshole, I want my crit/AD garen back!
I’m stuck in vegas right now on shitty wifi but when I get home, I am going to play the hell out of every champion I can think of until I can settle on somebody. It’d be cool if I could get some of you 1400+ peeps to tag along and put me in a challenging bracket.
EDIT: Also, I was misinterpreting Nocturne’s “remove ally vision” ult to remove vision of your allies ON TOP of losing everybody’s sight but yours (i.e you’re trapped in a map that has only you, nocturne, minions, and the other team). He doesn’t sound so bad now that I’ve been corrected.
I frequently say “I won that teamfight, dunno about you guys.” in team say when solo queueing, usually after we all get wrecked and I’m hobbling back to the base toting 2-3 kills or after having been the first to die as a tank with good items.
Losing doesn’t matter unless you’re in ranked solo (MAYBE) or in a 4-5 person premade or in a premade of any size with voice chat, focus on your laning and your general strategy in normal games; keyword YOUR.

not having team voice chat built into the game is another big omission from the game. has riot said anything about why they havnt implemented one in yet?
I’m not sure I want to hear the voices of guys called niggerknocker, jeweater, dookiecracker or spicspooner in my LoL. The game makes me rage enough as it is without being able to hear the voice behind the retardation that happens in solo queue. It was bad enough playing Socom with a mic back in the day where every 12 year old on the planet thought they were a master strategist and then threw a tantrum when you didn’t listen to them. I stay off xboxlive mic chats for a reason.
I know it has nothing to do with why Riot hasn’t implemented voice chat yet but just think what you’re asking for.
LoL communication key: (learn these simple phrases to help coordinate your team effectively)

Once you’ve learned these basic phrases your LoL game will skyrocket.

I played HoN which has a team voice chat on it, and it wasnt too bad.
albeit it was only during beta but still. i think the DotA community isnt as bad as the FPS community imo.
