Not really.

Zilean mid lose to people who can insta gib him…I.E. Ryze, Cass, Malz, Kass. Zilean wins against other poking mids, but people who can all in him just facestomp his ish. Plus, Zil does not provide that much utility. Mid has become a glorified support. It’s all about the CC. This is why you see Cass/Ryze so much in mid. Really good CC, strong aoe damage/strong single target. They are devastating. This also why Anivia is still up there in terms of tourney viability.

uh, sure? I was specifically only talking about the support role. Haven’t seen Zil mid in a while but I don’t have any info to comment on it.

She is not only a bad support she is a horrible support. She is a burst caster with a small amount of utility because she needs a lot of farm to be good at what she does. Which makes characters like her and zilean really bad at support. I think people see that someone has an ability that shields or makes them run faster and thinks that is supporting but really it is the fact that they can survive with 0 cs and still be useful. Karma is absolutely worthless with 0 cs.

She sucks at AP mid, I doubt she can do Top/Jungle/AD Carry so yeah just made this work.

Just stack Gold per 5 items if money really becomes an issue, early on I was doing fine and late game I just did a bunch of team support buffs with some AP items. Contrary to popular belief the AD carry doesn’t need every last minion, and when they port back to grab items I can claim a bunch of CS from her Q. We also never really got ganked and the assists added up.

Then again I hardly ever have money issues with support so I don’t understand.

Zilean mid is only for his ultimate and his strong harass game that can screw some mids
Karma mid you have to build at least 3 items so she can be at least useful before that she is bad.
Top with her against nasus is awful she can’t do anything do harass him actually any champion with better sustain than her beats her swain is a nightmare.
She doesn’t have ult so her shield is 20 stronger than jannas but don’t give anything else and janna’s has a 0.9 scaling while karma’s is 0.8 so if you want karma for the shield pick janna ap but if you want the heal pick soraka ap. Only pick karma if you like her because she sucks

I’m starting to think people just gloss the fuck over comments here and then write a paragraph over what they think they read.

I got Karma why class? Oh, the remake, as I would like to see what gets changed and/or improved.

Also I said it was ok, ok does not mean “OMFG dis shit is OP!” or “OMFG UP I will report anyone using her”. Also the shield sure is getting a lot of talk for me only using it twice in the 30ish minute game, the AD carry was pissing me off so I was intentionally trying to sandbag him into deaths, I liked her W more and the ability to move the funny line around while doing damage or helping someone with something.

Just a general thing I want to make clear before misconceptions pop up, pre-prepping and what not.

I never said she was good at anything her best thing she does have however is a little bit of burst which can be accomplished by AP mid. If you are really taking minions away from the bot lane while he/she is there that is horrible. If you are taking him there while your ad carry is not there then I question why the other team is letting you farm solo or why you are not going back so your ad carry has to wait until you go back and buy as well. I mean I guess there is a rare chance were you can get about what 10 minions if both ad carrys go back and you chose to stay and not buy? Which then makes your ability to trade worse because you didn’t go match items.

If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re saying that, on bot, the ad carry and the support needs to always B at the same time so that the support doesn’t get steam-rolled and can buy/match items with the ad carry.
If you’re saying so, then I completely disagree with that because they shouldn’t always B at the same time. I mean, if the support is supposed to always stick with the ad carry and never get any last hits, how is it that the support will be able to always B with the ad carry to buy items? with what money? I don’t think supports should be 100% dependent and stuck to the ad carry. Honestly, what you’re describing as the support’s role make it sound as if the support is just a minion (like shaco’s, morde’s, and yorick’s ults) and not a 5th, independent champion/human player.

I do agree that the support should help the AD carry get as strong as possible so the carry can start carrying to its maximum potential asap; however, sacrificing the support to be a glorified minion isn’t the way to do it IMHO.

^This. But all this skimming has made for some hilarious and interesting commentary. I personally enjoy all the extra input and if y’all ask me, I’d like the first post of this thread to have a link to a thread, blog post, or some other resource that has an extensive write-up on every champ in the game. << I mean, that’s the most important information to know in this game and we’ve got 90-something champs? << Also, inb4 google or mobafire guides. That shit has never told me 1% of the information I’ve learned on this thread. You guys are pretty smart and experienced mother fuckers and your opinions on the champions, game mechanics, etc are extremely helpful.

Mobafire has some good guides just got to adjust your search criteria properly. Found an in-depth Karma one (Though he was really biased toward her) when trying her out. I never felt it was my place to give advice on many characters but I don’t mind doing a little help, like Garen for example.
