nidlee is bad luck
I will add that successful jungling in this game is much harder than laning. By that I mean placing wards to stop enemy junglers and maximize ganks as well as having perfect timings on routes for optimal ganks. Sure its easy to jungle if the person is just leveling up using the jungle but that defeats the purpose. A great jungler is sometimes in that rare instance in this game where they can single handedly win a game. To the point that they limit all others farming if you can get that fear factor going not to mention successful early morale which can not be overestimated. Nothing worse than a jungler that never leaves the jungle
Hey guys, what did you all think of the LOL slashdance contest?
My fiancee and I made a video and sent it in but I might have blundered on emailing it in. I don’t know if they got it or not. But I figured I’d share it with you guys. Hope you enjoy
thats pretty good. a lot better than the others ive seen in the related suggestion section. although the gragas insanity hop could give you a challenge.
I like the versatility that Lee Sin has, but the only thing he seems to do in a team fight is kite. Maybe a support/kiter or something.
The fact that his jungle is pretty amazing helps though. Since I play Cho we will always have a tank and a jungle now. Something my solo games appear to always lack.
Over all, Lee Sin is pretty shitty but his teleports are so much fun to use in baits.
What’s the build on this beastly Tank Annie I keep hearing about? Build Order/Skill Order/Runes?
You don’t really go into a game intending to play Tank Annie, it’s more of a Plan B in case you fuck up so bad that not even grabbing Mejai’s and playing extremely safe/picking up assists can get you back to 100% bursting people, or you get matched up against several assassins/anti-casters.
Basically turn your Catalyst into Banshee’s Veil, grab a Heart of Gold, Aegis if nobody else is getting it, Randuin’s, then just grab more tanky items from there depending on where things are going…
Also, people play Blitzcrank so differently from each other… is there a “one true style to rule them all” to play with Sent? Or it’s variablle depending on situation? Noob guides put priority on cooldown, people here usually go Tear -> Sheen -> Boots -> TF, I’ve seen people claiming that the best option is to build Tank mode… Any suggestions to ponder while the servers are down?
Mana crystal + 2 hp pots, LvL 1 boots + Sheen, Phage and Zeal/finish trinity or Heart of gold/warden mail + Trinity start omen or frozen heart or if you went HoG route Omen finish trinty.
After that the popular route is banshees. This build is 2nd initiator/physical dps go for the back line of casters/ad carrys tank goes in then you go in and knock up there carry and try to silence at least 3 people (very important). Grab is only used to stop people from running away or catching an idiot early.
Get Q at lvl 1 then it goes R>E>W>Q
My runes
Reds: armor pen
Yellow: Mana per lvl
Blue: Magic resist
Quint: Flat hp
The mana regen i have and early mana crystal make tear not necessary. Tear only delays Trinity which is the core of any dps blitzcrank build. His passive is very situational as far as keeping him alive and should not be a problem if you are using proper decision making. The upside to this build is it is not as expensive as most so you have some time to scout jungle and try your hand at ganks early without having to farm to much. You want around 100 creep kills by 20 mins at least however.
Summoner spells of choice are Flash/Exhaust
Other solid choices are: Ghost, Ignite, clairvoyence
My Lee Sin is godlike
Except when there is a lack of team comp
then it is terrible
So i am going to be playing vlad straight for the next 2 days and i think my build/items aren’t doing much.
red crystal->Viasge-> CD Boots-> DGF. then w/e i feel like most likely deathcap and zhonyas
Runes
MP reds
Armor and Health yellows(per lvl)
MR blues(per lvl)
HP Quints.
Any suggestions?
I have a problem with my belkin network router knocking me offline when someone else connects to it. there is nothing worse when I’m in the middle of a game and my internet shuts off
Sleazoid actually nailed it: You don’t go into a game plotting to tank Annie its just what happens when you lose faith in those around you but I’ll post my Annie here for you.
Masteries 9/0/21 = Standard Caster stuff.
Runes:This is actually my standard caster page. It concentrates on just surviving early game.
Reds:Magic Pen reds
Yellows: Flat Armor
Blue : Flat Magic Resist
Quints: Flat Health
Summoners: Ignite/Flash or Ghost/Flash : I used to run Ghost/Flash exclusively on Annie but ignite helps secure a lot of kills which is great if you’re building defense first.
Starting Items:
Route 1:
Sapphire Crystal 2 pots : Build into Catalyst, Standard Annie stuff, if you’re doing great turn Cata into Rod of Ages and scrap the entire tank thing.
Route 2:
Doran’s Shield = Sell and Buy Catalyst on your first return to base.
Route 3:
Cloth Armor 5 Pots :Build into heart of gold and get tier 2 boots on first return
Skill Order: 1-6 : (Q - W) ->W ->Q ->E ->R
lvl 1: W for early game fight Q for just farming.
Skill Prio: -> R -> W -> Q -> E
You can skip putting a point in E until 8 if you’d like but I like taking it early.
Route 1 & 2: If you’re lacking complete confidence in your team mates/tank turn cata into BV asap and then begin building another Catalyst to turn into RoA. Merc treads for boots and and then you build Zhonya’s Hourglass. That’s pretty much the difference between “Tank” Annie and a regular Annie, you build to survive early on and get your damage later in the game. End your build with a magic pen item.
Route 3: Pretty rare you’d ever have to bust this out but if you ever need to just turn the cloth Armor into a heart of gold and get a pair of boots and then see routes 1 and 2. After you’re done building the rest of your items turn the Heart of Gold into Randuins. Don’t be afraid to replace some of the pots with a ward.
Basic tips
1.Auto Attack like crazy -
2.Keep your stun between 3-4 at all times. Sometimes its cool to energize just to deter people screwing with you but normally stay unenergized so you get a few shots in to remove BVs in team fights or to lure people who aren’t paying attention into a false sense of security.
3.You don’t have to rush a BV right away if the game is up in the air. You can build Cata and then rush your needlessly large rod with a set of tier 1 boots.
My final Tank Annie Build usually just looks like
Zhonya’s Hourglass, Merc Treads, Banshee’s Veil, RoA, Randuin’s Omen : you get something like 115 MR and Armor a lot of HP and enough extra mana and dmg to where you can kill squishy champions without too much extra effort.
Kassadin needs a skin ASAP.
I solo’d baron because I am Lee Sin the blind monk
dont know why people keep getting cdr boots on vlad. his Q and E are already really low on CD, and his W and Ult should only be used in must need circumstances anyways. better to get sorc boots. or merc treads.
IDK if I wanna go on the path of hardcore ranking matches.
I actually do not like the ELO system personally.
Or maybe it is just how you are matched with teammates.
I mean there are still plenty of people I seen at least who have a rather high ELO but are pretty bad.
He so totally does.
Never thought I’d like playing Janna so much. :lovin:
malz is really good.
Lee Sin is so much fun. Just telepoting everywhere
Don’t really get too many kills but w/e
