Final Round looks awesome and maybe I won’t perform pathetically this time.
I’m ok at Marvel and TVC, I just need the experience, but I’m bad at SSF4, BlazBlue, Tekken 6 and I wish my ps3 weren’t dead because now I have the drive to practice.
So, I went to the AnimeSTL in Collinsville, IL and it was extremely fun the first day.
I got to meet the Nostalgia Critic and got a photo with him. I bought a cool MVC1 Shirt.
Bunch of hot girls (IMO) in cosplay was always nice and funny people to watch as well.
As for the randoms tournament I got first in Marvel which I feel was a technicality, like 4th or 5th in SSF4, and third at Brawl.
The 2nd day was somehow meh to me with cool things here and there. I mostly spent my time in the gaming room. I was hoping to stay on the third day but everyone was in a hurry. The whole trip was worth it though in the end.
I only recorded my MVC3 matches but I’ll upload them soon enough even though the finals were cut off because of a dead battery.
I’ll keep going Maxout and other KC tournaments should time and money allow it (it should)
But for now I plan on going to EVO, just to go and get owned, but except Marvel.
I’ll be taking my friends so I have much planning to do.
does anyone play regularly in lawrence? i’m pretty amateurish at ssf4 and wanna get some games in
i mostly play melee but i’ve been really really wanting to get more experience at ssf4, but dont goto the kc hookups because i already drive out to kc once a week and i usually work on the nights they play
I know I haven’t really contributed to this thread in terms hookups or meeting grounds.
Perhaps after the summer, I’ll be able to purchase a ASUS Monitor and Lawrence SRK people can find a play to just play.
I am a Capcom, SNK fan who’s willing to play nearly any other fighting game.
Marvel vs Capcom 3 is my main game, it’s like a competitive TVC I’ve never had and I loved TVC. I am interested in learning SSF4, and somewhat on Tekken 6 and BlazBlue.
Oh yeah, Maxout is highly recommend to go to, I’m recording my matches the next time I go.
I’ll be at the Qualifier for sure. I’ll get better for sure in the meantime.

I’m definitely interested in playing some AE with any interested parties, but I’ll also play some Marvel, Tekken, Blazblue, pretty much whatever. Gamertag is Hamburglary if anybody wants to get some games in.
Ok, I don’t have a place for setups, private or public, but I shall be on AE tonight on PC from like 6-10
