ive been aware of gay people and been around them since i was a baby. my family is super liberal…sister was a wannabe hippy. so my experience is super diff than most.
Free intellectual expression is good! But what’s attractive about that image is the knowledge of what is promisee inside those curves. Nothing to do with religion it’s biology
Its pretty hilarious how people who would consider themselves “smart” still cant get the right pronouns to describe someone who obviously appears as a woman and lives life as a woman.
That shit boggles my mind. Are you really confused or trying to be funny? Which isnt funny BTW
Oh no…not biologically female…is it a he or a she I dont know! Maybe its an it!
I’m not arguing against her intellectual expression. I just thought it was a little mega liberal of her to say some of the things she did during her interview. If you watch it, you will see. It is a little extreme, and unnecessary imo. At the very least it is refreshing for the mainstream audience to get a dose of her, how she thinks, and what she believes in, because she is not the only one with all those labels, and or way of thinking.
She did come off hella insecure about her sexuality though, but i respect that she feels she is in a unique situation to not have to identify herself as anything, as she believes no one really needs to do that, and i assume that is because she believes society pressures us into fitting certain roles. I am not her, and i dont know what she has been through, but to say this at the sake of sounding insensitive, i just dont get how saying you were born biologically a male, but that was not your “calling” is such a big deal at this point for her. If i was a guy trying to date her, id like to know if she is pushing rhymes like weight in her pants, or post op, but maybe she lets people know that who are close to her, but for the general public she has a specific mission she is on to try to progress people in certain ways.
She honestly really lost me on the, you shouldnt say your child is male or female, just let it be. You could tell colbert and the crowd were like, uhhh wut. Oh fuck it, im tired as fuck, and drunk. I’ll reply more to this tomorrow
Check out some other interviews of Janet Mock. Shes actually not crazy. Theres one in particular where she asks a biological woman a series of questions about her body and her sexuality and the poor lady looks like shes about to cry. She was recreating the sensationalism that people put on transsexual women asking lots of unnecessary questions about the bedroom and intimacy as if that is the talking point of being trans.
I was reading something not too long ago that was basically saying how being gay or bisexual or queer always insinuates sex with people who arent accepting and it perpetuates this idea of sin and deviation.
Trans woman complain so often about being sexual objects, not like ordinary woman but like things only useful for really freaky people that have fetishes in shemales or girls with man parts. I would look for it but I’m on my best friends shitty laptop right now.
Just because “he” see’s herself as a she, which “she” is entitled to. I really couldn’t give two shits about what “she”, or you for that matter, want to label themselves as. So there’s no confusion, this isn’t about what gender politics, or taking a stance against people that I couldn’t give a shit if they died/took over a small nation/etc. It’s really just about the fact that he/she/it (whatever said reader wants to label “her” as) looks like a man. This is no different than me telling another poster that his Hollywood crush looks terrible, average, manly, etc.
That’s really the whole point to that post. No snarky attacks against genetically confused individuals, or some stupid conspiracy, or some stance on gender politics. It’s really just about the fact that she looks manly.
Thats fine, she does have some masculine qualities about her but this is what I now need you to understand just as I have understood and accepted what you said:
-Its not about looking like a woman its about feeling like a woman. Nobodu wants you to tiptoe around being politically correct, she does look a little like a man. And thats ok. There are lots of transsexuals that LOOK manly, but the right thing to do is to give them that respect that a human deserves and at the VERY LEAST use the proper pronouns and refer to her as a HER. Its really not that hard.
Also “genetically confused” would be a scientifically incorrect identification of transsexualism. There have been various forms of research on the brains of biological men who identify as transgendered and those brains more closely resemble that of a biological woman, as opposed to that of a biological gay male. They also have higher levels of estrogen. Some people feel an attraction to the same sex, some people feel like they arent the right gender.
And some people decide later in life to transition into female gender, which is why they end up looking “manly”. You have to understand that after puberty hits boys and it “sculps” us into hard hard men its difficult to then soften the body back up and appear more womanly. The younger the better, before puberty and you’ll look just like a woman, if you’re lucky and have good genes you can transition in your 20s. It just depends.
I don’t think her strong cheek bones and solidness is universally considered manly, you’re only led to believe this because the Greek ideology (and smaller cultures with less known influence) says so. Their women were preferred with the aura of submission and tenderness and men ruggedness with strength. Obviously for males a submissive female is more attractive but this stressed polarity creates a consciousness of a right to dominance. Something that has good points and bad points
The whole support of the movement is stressed only to make people think deeper about these things
Women and men dont look that much different. I’ve seen women that look very manly.
I was moreso talking about the body shape when it comes to transsexuals. The forehead/hairline, back, arms…I can usually tell when I see one even the good ones. They have this thing about em.
Amiyah is probably one of the most famous transsexuals on the internet right now. She kinda came out the closet by randomly posting a high school yearbook photo as a “throwback thursday” lolol. Twitter shit bricks.
Yeah, she looks female to me. What is considered masculine and what is considered feminine are “mainly” just mental constructs ingrained in our minds by society.
be careful of the trap here. full breasts and nice hips are clear distinctions of what a certain real “woman” likely has to offer. it’s just all the other things pilled up on top that are non gender specific but are only relative to biological advantages for certain parts of the worlds regions which is confusing people.
they leave it to scientists to be conscious of this due to it leaving the majority easier to control
Yeah, they always leave it to scientist to define Reality for Us as if they are the absolute authority on anything and everything (Would that make them God?) . In reality, mainstream scientist don’t know shit.
though there may have been a lot more influences on a microscopic level that encouraged these events
I believe the greeks saw themselves as a perfect blend of human and neanderthals, which is why they worshiped specifically human/neanderthal mixed images of themselves
early humans had long distant visual attention advantages and neanderthals had close ranged visual attention. we’re all ahead of past humans because of the fusion of these two traits among many others
