In what context do they neutral jump? Maybe we can help.
generally any time there is an inkling of what they view as an opportunity for me to command throw, so it makes sense, and I know what i need to do to adapt is start working in qcf+hp on reaction their neutral jump. It’s just an adjustment i know I will have to make that I just happened to notice a lot more people doing.
Try going for a regular throw and if they jump then do HP Bolt on reaction. Obviously if you delay the throw too long you might recover too late to anti-air but if you’re doing it in situations where you can command throw you’ll be point blank anyway.
Just finished watching the Daigo vs Dashio matches from yesterday stream. I need more footage of Dashio Laura, I was too entertained lol.
I hope Dashio sticks with the character. Because he is probably the best Laura I’ve seen so far.
And you can clearly see his Seth in her. Like double or triple dash into command grab, I love it.
I wonder if he plays ranked. We need to find his CFN lol.
So what are you supposed to do if people do that throw tech/jump option select?
Meaty command throw to beat it clean, delay normal to hit on prejump Frames. If you miss the timing or just plain bait it out, EX Bolt to punish the jump back. Im not 100% sure but I think it should be possible to time it so that you actually trip guard them when they land to get the Throw follow up.

Why do you want to switch? Just play both if one character isn’t enough for you.
To be fair, a lot of players, such as my self, seem to struggle at maining multiple characters at a high level. In my experience with trying to do so (and I have), I find that I can either play one character really well, or two characters really poorly. Not only do I tend to have a better understanding of my characters match ups if I focus on just one, but when I play two the muscle memory from one character tends to seep over into the other, causing extra execution errors, and I perform those enough on my own with out the need for my muscle memory to work against me too. I’m definitely always impressed by people who can main multiple characters though, and I’ve known people who could, so its one of those things that might be worth trying if you’ve never given yourself the chance to find out if you could.
And for the record, I also would very much like to see, say, Mr. Crimson, play in a tournament with even a handful of the top 16 players at the last two weeks US tournaments, not because I don’t think they would win, but because I’d like to know if they could. Just because you haven’t been tested doesn’t mean you can’t rise up to the challenge if given the chance.
I agree. I find it hard to play more than one character well, but since Mika and Laura have similar playstyles it should be a little easier to go to Mika.
Honestly I could be just super fucking annoyed/frustrated after losing a local tourney 0-2 with Laura to Ken and Chun(who did ex sbk EVERY KNOCKDOWN and I fell for it most times ffs) and to be fair I haven’t gone to a local offline scene since vanilla mvc3 released…
I played Tampa Bison on Sunday during ranked I got bopped lol.he had 10klp and I have 3500lp. Bison had a Wall of defense up it was crazy.
Glad I got that opportunity to see where I at against a top player but damn I was mad. That’s when everyone wanted to talk to me. Pissed off so much.
That’s cool you got to play him. I played Behrudy last night in battle lounge. We played 3 sets of FT3 and I won none lol. I mean I took rounds from him almost every game expect for like 2 matches. He played Rashid, when he got me in the blender in the corner I was fucked lol. Thank Capcom for V Reversal though.

I like this costume more than her underboob one but the costume is confusing; she’s wearing a bikini but wearing a jacket and then also wearing combat gloves. What exactly is she supposed to be doing wearing that? Also, anyone else notice that she’s using a belt but she’s just wearing a bikini? o.O I mean I guess it’s a ranking belt but it feels so out of place here.
That costume looks awesome. I will happily spend my hard earned fight money on that.
