Yup :slight_smile: I recommend FAT Tool on android (not sure if its on iOS). Has tons of functionality, so you can actually pick a character, select a normal, and it will tell you all the moves that will link into it and has a CH option to include CH links

I probably shoulda known that -2 fact, but I set the dummy to 3f normal after guard and was getting hit. Must’ve screwed something up.

S.MP is hit confirmable but definitely not easy compared to other normals in the game. You probably have around 15-20 frames to cancel it.

Someone should experiment w/ super meaty VT so that you can combo afterwords. It should theoretically work since you have 6 active frames, allowing combo into cr.mp

Anyone know what the actual frame data is for jhk on block? I’m trying to figure out why necalli and cammy seem to be able to break out of my block strings with DP while others can’t. Is it just mashing?

Without sounding like a noob, how do you pick left or right?

a basic as f**** combo that works is cr.lk >s.mp>bolt charge

edit: it was my joystick it has these weird switches. at the top i turned one on it works now

Hold the button to charge and release.

Anybody got any good setups for thunderclap for oki, other than just making it hit meaty and mixing them up while they’re in blockstun? LP Thunderclap seems to be good as a meaty if you let it go right away, still loses to most EX reversals though.

Okay, I saw this video of someone doing an OS with Laura. I can’t remember what they were doing for the block/hit part, but if the opp held up back after you would get H bolt and snag them out of the air. I have been looking for the last hour and can’t find it. I’ve check my youtube history and searched all over r/streetfighter, where I think I saw it. Anyone have ANY idea what I’m talking about, or could maybe use this info to figure it out? I’m without ps4 right now and can’t mess with it, but really wanted to try and figure it out asap. Tourneys are this weekend.

f+HP>HP xx H Bolt Charge does solid damage, but is hard to land since the target combo is so slow. You can set it up if you can land a fully charged Thunder Clap though. She doesn’t have very many links outside of counter hits, so your best bet would probably be s.HP> xx M Bolt Charge into a follow up. You get good oki off it and she’s not really a combo machine anyway.

On another note, HP Bolt Charge can’t be her only anti-air. I’ve seen someone say s.MK on here, but is it range dependent or something? I get beat out every time I try it.

I’m sorry, i’m not understanding these set of combos. are these going to work while i have VT active and i hit a random v-skill?

QCF+Hp and St.Mp are her AAs. I used St.Mk before but id rather stick with St.Mp to be honest.

Even though this may be repeated… please let me share with you guys my findings…

Lauras electric fb seems to be an excellent footsies tool when you manage to FINALLY condition idiots not jump endlessly by dping their asses… what I do is do an electric fireball then dp if they jump… dash forward if they do nothing and command grab… dash forward… walk back and whiff punish st tech… dash forward and do st.mp into light bolt charge for safe pressure… overhead or even just cr.mk into light shoulder… the options are endless!!!

I found an excellent CC combo that requires no meter and does 318 damage.

CC st.hp xx mp fb > cr.hp > mp bolt charge… you can even extend it with an ex fb and do resets or end it with dp.

St.mk is not normal… I’ve been abusing that poke on people who just wanna press buttons and sometimes do st.mk into dash and keep the pressure on… its endless possibilities, the normal is probably her best in regards to a combination of distance and speed… abuse it my friends…

So, do her special moves gain more advantage on block during V-Trigger? Specifically, is L Bolt Charge any better?

Nope, from my understanding VT only adds more stun.

I’m not 100% sure if this is what you’re talking about, but if you’re going for a throw (normal throw, not command throw) if you input qcf hp and they jump straight up, you’ll still hit them after your throw whiff.
