It has 22 or 18 if you cancel into from esquiva (backdash v-skill) but the normal dash has 17 frames.
The main difference between that and the normal dash is that it has a smaller hurtbox (less height).
Another thing is the sound. I know it sound maybe weird but the sound of the v-skill dash trigger an button press for some people but the silent normal dash doesn’t.
You are invincible during the wakeup animation. But I can’t find the frame for the wakeup animation, so I will have to go look into that myself.
Alright, so I got a question regarding the post-stun combo’s. Some combo’s use the Light LV3 charged fireball. However, has anyone actually tested these against people that can mash like gods? Cause people seem to be able to just mash out of stun before you’re done charging your fireball. I also tried in training mode and I was not able to charge a level 3 fireball before being able to mash out of stun.
Only when I got the stun of a fast normal like cr.mk or lights did I have enough time to charge it, but not from like a command throw or medium Bolt Charge followup stun.
Am I missing something, or is this common knowledge?
Mainly talking about this one where you need enough time to jump on your opponent after charging a fireball:
I already manage to land the combo if the stunned player is down, has to wake up and lose the stun.
I guess you need to be ready for the stun and start charging as soon as the last hit hits.
This combo is not for use after a Command Grab as the opponent can mash out. There are combos for use after the Command Grab noted in the first post.
As for Bolt K followup, the timing is tight but you should be able to land it if the cross-up is relatively shallow. Might take some practice to get the timing down.
For escaping the stun, I’d set the CPU to max level as it does attempt to mash out.
I’ve updated the Okizeme section of the main thread for stuff that works based on the numbers I’d posted a few comments up. Noted from v-ryu’s video that the meaty CC 5HK will combo into 6HP.
I may create a trades section sometime later in the week after some experimentation.
Also those CC combos are pretty interesting, I may investigate some stuff with that later.
@v-ryu What was the damage output of the post-stun combo at the end? I have a similar combo in the main post but it involves using V-Trigger mid-combo. I’m wondering if there is enough time to use V-Trigger after the stun and fully charge a Clap since the charge time is significantly reduced.
Will give that a go then. Activating V-Trigger mid combo was 690~, not quite 700.
Are there any other sections the main post needs? Pretty sure most of the important stuff is down. Might do Clap blockstrings. Might also create short Gfycat clips for each part.
