Most likely, you’ll be pushed to your breaking point. As far as I know, it happened to everyone in my boot camp and probably about three times to me in particular. Blame my short temper. just don’t let the shit cause you to do something you’ll regret, like running away. Boot camp wasn’t even that bad 10 years ago and from what I’ve learned, it has eased up even more as far as stressing people out goes. Still, I would expect that they will put a lot of stress on you. It is required to see how potential soldiers and sailors will do under pressure, so stay cool. BTW, what MOS are you going in for? If you don’t have an A-school by now, DON’T GO!!! I know Ducky will back me up on this. Even though his job and present condition aren’t the greatest, I’ll bet he is still better off than the normal grunts for the simple fact that he has a job. I know in particular how the Naval version of grunts (nicknamed deck apes :bluu: ) fared. They were NOT happy. Not even once. Don’t find out the hard way.

My night is now complete. Played some hella fun CvS2 games and ahem donated 2 bucks to Ducky’s cause…ok ok, I fuckin’ lost horribly. :rofl: It’s all good though.

And I just spent the better part of the hour downloading all of MikeZ’s combo vids. Those were and still are fucking golden to watch. Because of some “relationship problems” with my now former gf, I deleted all of them from my computer. Bah, those were dark times.

Ah well, goodnight everyone, hope all is good with you people out there. God only knows how shitty this year has been, I hope there are some good times mixed in all the shit.

Another late night that passes by uneventfully. I spent most of tonight doing laundry and playing Star Wars KOTOR. Almost beat it. That, and doing lots of thinking.

I’m tripping about going to my brother’s wedding, just because my dad will be there. I talked with him the other day and he was all grilling me on how I was single. I come from a large family and I’m the youngest. All my older brothers and sisters are pretty much married… 2 currently married, 1 one the way to marriage, and 1 pretty much on the way to engagement… and that leaves me. A target for my father.

I know I’m young, but damn… I was supposed to have gotten married about 2 years ago. My planned date was 11/30/02. Things fell through. So now my dad probably is upset because I’m his only son who is single. I won’t get a girlfriend just to please him, but I understand why he wants me to have one. The truth is I would love to find a girl to be mine, not only to please my father, but because I’ve been single for awhile.

Too bad I’m stuck in Hawaii… far away from most my friends, except for the ones I made here (like Angelsabre), who can hook me up. I got a work schedule that has been pretty grueling lately… and when I do holla at girls or get hollered at, the girls are either in high school or they are horribly materialistic and just not my type. That’s pretty much all the girls in Hawaii though. Haven’t had much luck finding anything that’s girlfriend material, only girls who are worth a fuck or two.

Bah… this sucks.

Enough of this ranting though. I’m getting too angst filled and emo and shit for my tastes. Time to go to sleep and prepare for another boring day at work.

I’m at MEPS right now and I am on one of the computers. There are two black guys from my area going to boot camp with me, one of which I actually did some DEP stuff with. All is good and I am glad that things are on the run. Next stop – Great Lakes!

Tonight, a really sick idea came into the mind of me and my coworker. I’m a pretty twisted guy as it is, but work really pushes me. It’s hit a lull recently, because we are finished with our major taskings at work, but a lot of the time they be working the fuck outta me.

Anyway, there is a potluck tomorrow, for everyone in our batallion. I don’t like a lot of the dicks in our batallion, so me and my coworker are getting revenge. We’re cooking and bring food to the potluck. Dogfood disguised as chilli. Possibly with a laxative. FUCK THEM ALL.
