Well lads and lassies, This has certainly turned out to be one for the books.
Earlier today all of us (The family ) went out to the local water park. Partly to take our minds off what was about to happen, partly to get out of the house. During the course of the day, my mood was about as good as a cat in a cage in a Korean restraunt and everyone knew why. My best friend is looking about as happy over the whole thing as I am, but we both know there isn’t much room to choose…
…Or so I thought.
At one point in the park he comes to me and lets me in on a little plan of his.
Him: Hey Doc. ( <<----------He calls me doc for a personal reason )
Me: sup.
Him: Hey man. I know you’re down about what’s happening and all, but don’t worry.
Me: I’m not worried, just sad.
Him: I know. You know you’re still my best friend right?
Me: I’ve never doubted you on that. You know the door to the house is always open too right?
Him: yeah. I wanted to talk to you about that actually.
Me: ?? sure. what’s up?
Him: Well, after I get them moved into the other house, I’m more or less gonna be hanging out here more than there. You know I wasn’t gonna leave ya hanging and besides, I can’t deal with the rules they’re laying down at the other place."
Me: Trying like hell to hide a smile So, things are gonna finally be where they should’ve been?
Him: Yep. the family over there, and the Dirt-chamber( A.K.A. our house ) over here.
Me: that’s good. she okay with it?
Him: she’ll have to be. I’m leaving you to hang man. You wouldn’t have done it to me.
Me: You know it. I guess the neighbors aren’t going to be pleased when they find out.
Him: why?
Me: because having kids in the house was the only thing that kept me from turning the volume past 10, and that isn’t going to be a problem much longer. :evil:
Him: laughs and nearly falls on some chick behind him in the water.
so, around the end of july or august, everyone will move out, my best friend will be here, I’ll basically have a house to myself, and everything will be pretty much where it should’ve been from the start. There’s a few more tough spots coming up, but it looks like there will be a golden lining in the future still.

well, it looks like it will be a moot point for now. They aren’t moving until end of July at the earliest and the internet apparently will still be on. All of this is what I’ve found out today at the water park. I don’t call that guy my best friend for nothing. He’s da man.

The new stuff here: Today marks the end of the first day of medical appointments with the Veterans Doctors. You know what I hate most about fasting? 12 damn hours of no food on minumum. If you’re lucky, the docs get you before dementia sets in, which wasn’t the case for me. By 10 am I was able to smell a piece of bubblegum three rooms down. I nearly bit this little kid for a piece of candy (Little bitch betta give it up next time!! :mad: ) and, my stomach made a noise that caused one lady to leave the room. Considering what I must have looked like at that point, she probably thought I was so far gone that I had started growling at people. Aside from one hot red-head from Moldavia (sp?), it went as hospital visits go. slow, boring, uneventful. What about all of you?

Ducky, I’m off Friday, but I have a lot to do late night nighttime, so I’ll probably be there early, like 7 or something.
Well, this begins my short three days off from work. I will enjoy this time immensly. Get mah game on! And sleep. Can’t forget about sleeping the sun away. Fuck the sun.

What’s up? I’m still trying to finish off hard mode. My once great skills have eroded. 
I did end up getting that police car ship though. It’s a monster if you level it to 20 and have exceptional dodging skills. Damn stage 4 makes it all but impossible to finish the game with it though.
