It looks like that light that shows up at the end of the tunnel may finally be in sight for me. Tomorrow I go back to the docs for a mental exam, and I got a call today from one of the places I put in an application. I’ve got an interview tomorrow. Most likely, I’ll have a job soon which will mean easy street as far as things are concerned around here. What’s up with everyone else?

Just got done with a 2 hour session of Diablo 2… forgot how fun that game is. My friend and me started about the same time today and teamed up (he played for about an hour before I started mine up) and did pretty good… he got to 13 and I’m about 1000 away from 12.
After going without power for 3 days (stupid hurricane) I’d like to say it’s feels good to spam on the ol’ Late Night thread again. With that said, it’s time to play Pokemon Sapphire.
I hate how sometimes you’re just chill, living life, and not doing anything in particular… watching tv, a movie, surfing the net, listening to music… when all of a sudden you start thinking about the girl… you know… the girl. Then for the rest of the night you can’t sleep because you just keep on thinking about her.
Brought it up because it just happened to me… and I was looking forward to sleep tonight, too.
Damn this new layout is irking me badly. I know it’s better because it’s harder to hack and whatnot, but damn some of the changes are just…blah. And where’s my premium status dammit?! :mad:
And yeah Ducky, I’ve had nights like those. Some nights I just start thinking of certain women, or just a certain woman, and I just can’t get it out of my mind. But you probably value the woman you’re thinking of more than the women I’m thinking of.

Finally!! Things are finally looking up. I’ve got a job, the tests are done, and because of that, I’m in a pretty good mood. Even though the job doesn’t pay that much, I’ll be able to pay bills and get stuff again. even so, I can always keep looking for another job but until then, I at least have a financial leg under me. Things are good here.

Shit. I’m better than okay. I got a mutherfuckin job and a place to sleep (that actually has a shower) and that hurricane didn’t kill me. Life is truly good. The good luck wave will spread with me and Starhammer outward to the rest of the SRK populace.

Had to say goodbye to my girlfriend today.
I’ll see her Christmas time, so it’s not even that bad, but still. Walking away from her at the end and somehow keeping my composure in front of her was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I couldn’t let go, cause I knew that’d be the last contact for awhile. And then she started crying, and I wanted to too, but one of us had to stay strong.
She won’t be here this weekend, and that realization is slowly hitting me.
It just sucks.
