It seems that the Indians are starting C.C. Sabathia in game 1. Which I think is stupid since he’s your BEST pitcher. I don’t think you want to throw that out there in game 1 because if they end up losing that game, they have nothing else to throw out there. Remember, 6-0 against the Indians this year.
Wang and Pettite are also slated to start twice in this series if need be. And Boston/LA is gonna be the better series of the two. No lie.

The Indians have Carmona too, so a five game set with them is something I’d be concerned about. The Yankees have to win at least one game against the both of them to win that series, but I think they can pull it off. I said they were going to the World Series when the season started, and with the way they’ve been playing, I look like even more of a genius now.
Well, we DID beat Carmona. Sabathia is the only real random factor because he didn’t pitch in those two series. AT ALL. So, I have a great deal of confidence in our 1-9 lineup and our pitching staff. I just hope Clemens is able to throw by next week, which I think he should be healed up. Thankfully it was only a hamstring and nothing too drastic.
Boston/L.A. is the five game set that you should be on the lookout for. That’s the real epic. Does L.A. have homefield advantage in the ALDS?
Anaheim does not have home field because they’ve been losing a bunch of games since they clinched the division. The Yankees might end up with a better record than them in the end.
I don’t think Clemens will even be used in the ALDS. I see the rotation being Wang, Pettite, Moose. If Clemens is used at all, it’ll probably be off the bullpen or if something drastic happens. I don’t mind that, though, because I’d rather have Rocket completely healthy for the ALCS/World Series.
