I thought it would take some pretty mean coaxing and Zerg baiting to get the almighty Starhammer out of our beloved Late Night thread and over to the Lounge thread. But it seems much easier than I imagined. =P
What’s up/the purpose of the lounge thread anyway? I’ve never actually been inside. I just didn’t care for the title.

@Omniexist it’s pretty much the same thing as this one. I guess the only reason this one is open is because we don’t bother people and for some unknown reason, late night threads are pretty resistant to trolls and flames while other threads haven’t always been that lucky. still, it ain’t bad.

If anyone’s following the bullshit I’ve been going through… I ate an LOR. Then I told my superintendent that I’m not the kind of worker that gets an LOR, especially not this early… he gave me the benefit of the doubt, but that meant transferring out of that office… the work at the new place is shitty, but the people are easier to work with.
well that sucks. A LOR is no good if you intend on staying in the military for any amount of time. At least you got out of the office so you won’t be dealing with the same people.

Not much here. I’ll be back at work Monday. I guess it’s been long enough without work for me, but only when I’m about to stop laying around the house do I wish I had more time to lay about the house. well, If all goes according to plan, I’ll have more time for that after I get in some hard work and smart investments. what’s going down for the rest of you?

I guess it’s different in the AF… a standard LOR can hurt your EPR cycle, and your reputation might be screwed for the rest of your time working in the same building, under the right circumstances (I’m under the right circumstances)… but it’s not permanent record… it’s pretty much invisible outside of the organization… of course, it’s another writeup or two away from the stuff that follows you everywhere…
And I said before it’s pretty much the whole building that’s fucked up, but the definite bright side is the guy supervising me now is normal, and won’t write me up just for sneezing like the last guy…
mm speaking of Air Force… my ass is going to basic training this Tuesday.
I’ll be hitting up the MEPS station Monday afternoon though.
My recruiter promised me that I would meet Tim Duncan and Tony Parker at Lackland AFB in San Antonio.
Doing alright. Sorted out the academic mess with the higher ups as best as I can, I hope they heard (and more importantly, I hope they will work on) my grievances.
Real classwork starts next week.

yep. that one. When I was still in the navy it was apparently a bigger deal than it is now. I just hope it doesn’t cause you any trouble while you’re there. Most of the time the command keeps it quiet as long as no other troubles come from it so just keep out of trouble and there shouldn’t be anymore problems.

Once I get back to the States this time though, it’s a wrap though.
Beast that Mickey D’s btw, somebody’s got to. The way I see it, it never matters where you work as long as you’re happy and just getting by. That’s one thing i’ve started or might have always appreciated. Once I kick off the Art school path and wrap that phase up, nothing will stop me.
F4-2 was alright. Still more than a little disappointed at Doom’s character. Still no pink shit. But he did have his electric s./c.:hp: attacks and the Doom Rocks… sort of.
art school eh? sounds like a plan to me. :tup: as far as Mickey D’s hell yeah I’ll beast it. I didn’t get everything I wanted, I’ll be hired back at the same rate of pay I left instead of the increase, but I’m okay with that. It sounds like the new manager doesn’t allow people to play around which was one of the biggest problems I had. If they can at least treat us all fairly, I can hang out for the rest of the year at least. It’ll be up to them as to how much longer I’ll be there since by then I’ll have all that I need. If I can get a good deal on the type of car I want, they might luck out for a little longer.
@4neqs heh. I must see that movie when I get the chance. Just knowing doom and the surfer are in it was all I needed to know.
