Actually, SH, now that I think about it, you can find used MS Sidewinders all over eBay for dirt cheap. In fact, eBay would probably be the best place to look for PC gamepads… they are in abundance and aren’t very much in demand… so you can get them for cheap. I’d check on eBay first before I go to a place that will rip you off like Gamestop.
GGXX#R isn’t an emulated game. It’s an official Sammy release for the PC. :o
I was more talking about SH… not sure what game he was talking about for PC, assumed it was for emulated games. I know you have the pads for your GGXX#R on PC. I still wouldn’t shell out the cash on a stick just to play GG on PC.
I play SFA3, SSF2, SPF2T, Samurai Shodown 4, Vampire Savior, Gigawing, Mars Matrix, and X-Men COTA.
For the SNES I play Super Metriod, TMNT: Tournament Fighters, Chrono Trigger, etc.
And recently, GGXX#R.
That list is large enough for me to merit a small expense for a pad. If I could buy an inexpensive stick, I would do that too.
Unfortunately the only one I know of costs an arm and a leg, so forget that.
I ended up with a wealth of ROMS from a trip to Kazaa, so I’ll end up needing a good stick. Thr price won’t matter though. by the time I can afford one, I’ll be able to afford any of them.

I got the pad for 25 bucks back when I first got it, about 4 years ago… I don’t think I’ll ever shell out to buy a stick for PC though. I’d rather get a stick for console so I can play people. That’s the problem I always had with PC… so hard to play with your friends using emulators if you only have one PC. Internet play is ok, but since I don’t play too many games on my PC (which is ironic, because I bought and fixed my computer up just so I could play computer games and watch porn) I don’t see the point of buying something like an X-Arcade.

No joke… I got transferred to a new section this month at work. I go from being the top shit system administrator in my section to just another system admin in my new section, and the bullshit is because I built most of the systems in my old section, I still have to do half the shit there with them because people don’t know how to do shit. This migration to Active Directory the Army is doing is bullshit… it would be easy if we didn’t have fucking 20,000+ users to migrate at a time.

That’s one of very few RPG’s that I’ve yet to play, though I do have it. How is it?
Wow!:eek: How is it possible you can play that game? I’m not saying it’s a crappy game but my god, when you leave the very first castle the enemies hit you like a freight train. There’s that little circular radar at the top right of the screen and there at least ten dots that come racing right to your position. Doesn’t even help to try and outrun the dots because they’re three times as fast. Standing still doesn’t work either, that just means the enemies swarm on you just as fast.:lol: :mad: 
I commend you for having what it takes to get somewhere in that game.

It ain’t easy. The amount of swarming they do on land is nothing compared to the caves though. They hound you to no end in a cave. I have yet to make it from one end to the other without rasing a level. Right now I’m stuck fighting against the aprentice guy for the star rune. That bastard isn’t easy either.

Hey Angelsabre, I remembered you came back to the island tonight… hope you spent some good quality time with your folks before your dad heads over to the sandbox. He’ll come back, man, don’t worry… My battle buddies over there will be watching his back, and if they are good enough to cover my back, I’m sure they’re good enough to cover your dad’s.
Sup everyone. Back from the Big Island. It was kinda weird. Everyone was celebrating and honoring my dad, and I felt so removed from it. I was there, but not really. I was too busy thinking of the future, and I wanted to be away from it all. After all the partying and such, I told my dad I loved him, I’m proud of him and I’ll be seeing him soon enough. He cried a little, but I think he’ll be ok. He’d better be ok if he knows what’s good for him. I even told him that and he just laughed and he told me he knew. He’s due for Honolulu in a week, then he’ll be in Texas for a few months, then Iraq in February. He’ll be back hopefully sometime in early 2006.
Thanks for the words of encouragment Ducky. I’m sure he’ll have his team watching his back and he’ll do the same for everyone he’s with.
