was about to go to that party tonight, but when I got out the shower, I started to debate.
…I really don’t know, but I felt… indifferent. I wanted to go, but without a ride, or means to drive, I felt as if I would burden someone. Sure it would be polite, but it just felt…bad. Then I thought about everything else and decided I shouldn’t, which was dumb.
I felt…helpless…on a Saturday night…for the first time…
I kept hearing those voices of the people who looked down on me because of it…and I dropped the pair of clean pants and just hung out at home…missed out on some good booze because of some fear…
just curled up in bed and played Phantasy Star Universe for the rest of the night…trying to think…what went wrong?

I got the lappy. Wasn’t too hard at my local Walmart. Gift and a curse of a small town, I guess. No one knew about it. Got in, bought it, got out. Easy.

The Army has a new motto, a new recruiting slogan - “Army Strong” replaces “Army of One” - I don’t know which one I prefer. No one really understood the meaning behind the One (Officers, NCO’s, Enlisted) but Army Strong doesn’t sound that good. Oh well.
Its amazing how fast you can fall behind in university. Im gonna have to drop a course just so I can catch up in the others. I feel like an idiot for falling behind so quickly, just hope I can make up in the other courses. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
If you ask me, it would be a good change. dope up some of the soldiers and turn them lose in a hot spot. see how fast the opposition turns bitch when we’re playing by their rules.

What’s up late night? Yeah, I’m still around.I was out at a thanksgiving dinner at a friend’s place today. not bad IMO. his dad is a hell of a cook. I even got to take some home. That poor turkey will get rushed down with a quickness never before seen on this world. All in all, not a bad day. Thankfully, I have friday off so I don’t have to go and deal with work. better still, my finances are looking super good for the start of next year. with luck, I’ll be starting me a savings account so that the money can start making itself and I can go back to watching them shake it. so how did things go for the rest of you?

Seeing the crew after work. Gonna stay home tommorow and kill some Phantasy Star Universe, Conqueror of Shambala, and EX 3 on Sunday as a pupil to an old school fighting games master.
I think the worse part about it is that I don’t really look all too young. Given, 22 is young, but most people think I’m in my mid to late 20’s. 25 is the most popular guess when I ask people how old they think I am. On top of that, every single soldier I’ve ever been in command of has been older than I… and I’m still one of the youngest people in my battalion. I’m Asian, I thought I was supposed to age gracefully?
Didn’t do much on my bday. Celebrated on Wednesday, so I was still pretty burnt out. Just had a relaxing time playing some games and sleeping in.
