You’re lucky. I can’t stand cold, so I suffered in Tokyo. Luckily, I already had a good countermeasure in place with my bike clothes and rash guards. That stuff can stop any freeze up to and including…The insane Japanese weather. Of course, you have to keep it covered. Black man in spandex don’t look cool…Except to Japanese. :tup:

I know that it’s getting cold here in my part of Japan. It’s so cold that my balls are freezing their balls off. I like the cold weather Azrael, but not this kind of cold. I like late October to early November fall cold. Not, it hurts your fucking face December cold. We had snow two days ago for peat sakes.

That night I had a dream I was in the movie Day After Tomorrow. Me and Chris Tucker were trapped in a house while everything outside was getting cold and icing over. I was busy trying to find a way to light a fire and keep warm, and Chris was screaming about freezing to death or something. I woke up before the dream (nightmare?) could get much further.
Off work and it was like 26 degrees felt like 17… ugh. I have a safety standdown tomorrow which is gonna suck and make us be at work 4 hours early. Oh boy the Navy :rolleyes:
But hey! Come Friday after work I’m hearding to PA to meet a friend.
I am now the proud owner of an original 8-bit Nintendo NES system.:lovin: It only cost me 19.44$. Now I just have to track down the original Mega Man games and I’ll be good to go.
I went on an interview yesterday for a seasonal job at UPS but I don’t know if that is gonna work out or not. They said they would call but my phone was deathly silent today.:bluu: I tried calling Toys R Us to see if I could get the same job that I had last Christmas back but that didn’t work out. There phones must be ringing off the hook because I called at least a dozen times every time they were busy.

Just got finished playing Battlefield… had some good matches, but the last one had me pissed. I come in, the germans are losing, and all the newbies keep hopping in the tanks. So before I got too pissed I just sipped my gin and disconnected. AAAAAAH (relief).
Pre-vacation exams suck.

lol, I have actually never had gin myself. One of many liquors I have yet to try. I’m not too big on PC games but put an xbox controller in my hand and I’m dangerous.:badboy: Mega Man Anniversary Edition is my crack cocaine of choice until I can find the originals for my NES.
That reminds that I actually got a chance to play Call of Duty on Xbox 360. I was actually really impressed. The controller wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be and the game play was pretty fun.

Yea Call of Duty is pretty cool. The only thing about it, once you play it through, it really has no replay value. And if you’re thinking online, you should jump on BF 1942 or 2, or on WoW.
Gin has taken it’s place at the top of my liquor choice… mix it with either Sprite/Seven-Up/Mountain Dew or Orange Juice.

Well, starhammer has good news tonight. some of you may remember me talking about my old friend having messed up his life with alcohol. well, I got a phone call from him a little while back saying that things have changed. It seems that he finally got a clue and is taking care of his life.
On the bad side, I have a favor to ask of you all. One of my Co-workers told me today that her dad recently had a heart attack. Her name is Kylie, and what I want is for you all to pray for her dad. Thanks in advance.

Well today was uneventful UPS still hasn’t called me back, so I went and applied at Toys R Us and Applebees for a seasonal position. Hopefully I’ll know by tommorow if I have a job or not. I hate sitting around and waiting it makes me feel like I’m not getting anything done. I’m just trying to earn some money so I can actually buy some presents for my brothers this year.
Otherwise I’m in a pretty damn good mood, so how’s everybody else doing?

Yea Star… life is a bitch… one of my best buddy’s brother just had his first child, and it has to have open heart surgery before it’s 2 months old. I hope for the best for your friend, as I hope you hope for the best for my peeps :hope: .
Now that really sucks. It would be hell to see your own kid in that much pain at such a young age. I hope that the surgery goes through and that the little one gets well quickly.
I swear. just when I think I can’t hate 2005 anymore, it proves me wrong.

Tonight’s story: Well, work was a bitch again. Goosed a worker or two, but got demolished by the customer rush. I’ll need some rest, but I’ll get that. College Hoops 2K6, MMAC (thanks to Quicksilver), OoT (game always reminds me of the holidays), and RE4 are holding me down. I just got RE4 a few days ago and that game is hard as fuck. I’m running around trying to find an exit and WHAM chainsaw to the head. Game over.
Also bought 40 Year Old Virgin, Bret Hart DVDs, and Family Guy - Season 4.
