And in the end, that’s all that matters. At least to me anyway. I’ve got a few friends back home that’s into the tunning thing. I find it way more expensive then just tricking out your car.
It cost a lot less just to put in a nice CD deck, some 12" subs a good set of 5X8’s for the front and 6X9’s for for the back. Add some chrome 18" wheels and some neon underlighting and your done. Maybe a paint job and some monitors to if you want to go all out. But I never saw the point behind putting a DVD player and monitors in your car. I asked a friend of mind about why he was planning to do it. He told me that it would be nice to park some where and watch movies. I didn’t shatter his psyche by telling him that that makes absolutely no sense and that it would be better if you just went home where the big screen tv and surrond sound for a fraction of the cost is waiting for you. I do however believe that having monitors in an suv is entertainment for the kids. But when it’s just you… come on!!!
So I finally got the system in my car installed… a 7" in dash DVD player with a top of the line Pioneer head unit - I can now watch porn while in my car. Hail to the king, baby.
Hahaha…I wonder if cops can bust you for watching porn in your car. I mean its your car, but some family might drive by in a minivan and see Lily Thai get nut on…
Yes, they canbut only if you watch it in public. This topic actually came up in one of the car forums I like to read a few months (years?) ago. Cops can, indeed, ticket you for disturbing the public or public lewdness or something like that (one of our mods was ticketed ).

Got back from California on Monday after surprising my girlfriend at her 21st birthday party (which was on Friday). Ended up spending the whole weekend with her. Did it in her car, in her brother’s room, in her room. All firsts for our sex lives. No hotel to hide behind this time around. =D
Coming up on my 90-day eval at work. They all like me in the IT department, so I don’t think I’ll get shitcanned or anything like that. Apparently I have, what is called in the business, “personality”. Go fig.
My dad calls me up from his business trip and says that he’s too busy to help me fix my bucket of a car, so when he gets back, he’s willing to co-sign with me on that new car I want! Scion tC, here I come! I’m so freakin’ excited about that. I’m gonna go to the bank this weekend or next weekend and apply for a loan. My credit’s fatty awesome right now, so I’m hoping for the best. I bought an NES. Took out the 70-pin and lifted the pins back up so they’ll read carts properly, and I plugged in my Super Dodge Ball and I’m having a blast. I love my modded XBox emus and my PSP emus, but nothing beats an old classic square awkward controller.
I just noticed that the token black guy from Can’t Hardly Wait is in one of those new Taco Bell commercials for that new grilled wrap thing they have. That guy was hilarious, how did it go? Something like “…remember that time at the sockhop, when we were dancing? I didn’t tell you back then, but I TOTALLY HAD THE BIGGEST BONER, DUDE!!!”
…as promised, here is a picture of my sound system setup. I went with a Pioneer DEH-P80 afterall. Looks pretty blurry, but it was hard to take pictures at night without that effect. I have matching gauge lights to match my blue lighting from the head unit. Ong-Bak is playing on my DVD player.
Which DVD player did you decide to get again, Ducky? I’m already tallying up the audio/video setup I’m trying to get for my tC. I wanna check out something similar or cheaper than what you’ve got.

I got a 7" indash Kenwood with a seperate DVD player, also Kenwood… the entire DVD setup only cost me $500 - $400 for the indash screen and $100 for the DVD player. Sales at the Navy Exchange hahahaha. It’s mounted on the passenger side. I was debating on an all in one setup, except the all in one setups do everything - but not everything that well, unless you get a top of the line one for $1200+. I’m pretty happy with my current setup since I don’t plan on watching shit in my car all too much.
My friends have had issues with touchscreens fucking up after a little use, so I’m pretty happy I didn’t get a all in one since my friend who was the biggest supporter of the idea recently had his touchscreen fuck up on him. :lol:
