I think that we should try and organize another tournament. I think the growing maturity of the P2P client should improve the quality of play between East and West coast players. Also, some of the better players I’ve met have reappeared recently so we might field a better draw.
If any of you guys haven’t used the 0746’s P2P client yet you really need to try it. You’ll feel the difference as soon as you hit the character select screen. The P2P client includes classic kaillera client functionality so it’ll allow you to play on public servers when you can’t find a P2P game. I’ve been using it for a few months, and it’s at least as stable as my previous kaillera client on public servers. I can’t think of a good reason NOT to use the P2P client. At least not until/unless something better comes around, and I’m not expecting that to happen anytime soon.

Count me in. I think it might improve the quality of the games if we use 0746’s P2P client. This is especially true when the players are on opposite coasts. Also, what do you think about playing a best of 5 series as opposed to best of 3?
That means all you wingnuts need to actually get the p2p client!
Honestly I don’t know why some of you guys want the 5-8 frames of delay on GW when you can play p2p with virtually anyone at 3 frames.
