Try deleting your mame directory entirely except your roms and installing it again from www.anti3d.com/downloads.php

The hacked mame from dark templarz has issues with some SNK games…I’ve had many people who could not get kof2k2 working on that emulator, until I told them to download the “unhacked” one from anti3d. The one that is said to be hacked on anti-3d, is not hacked the way they say it is…that hacked version has the anti-close programmed into it, it doesn’t contain more games.
