Can you add the location and date to the thread title? Not just for the sake of following the rules (don’t want them to close the thread), but people are lazy and won’t know when it is and that this is in Las Vegas without actually drilling into the thread. Also would be a good idea to add it to the tournament calendar in the front page. Just a suggestion cuz I want you guys to get some exposure out of this and good numbers.

Oh yea, Game Over_ is hella legit. These guys have been holding down Las Vegas for a while now, so please show support to them. No other place like Game Over_ in Las Vegas at all. Top notch place to play, and ownership.

Wishful thinking for the Marvel tournament, but maybe 8 people would care about it locally, if there is even that many. Is it worth it if no one really plays the game anymore? Let’s face it, this would be free for Ruin unless there is some out of town talent coming in specifically for this. Plus GO is not that large that it can handle many side events at the same time as the other stuff that is running. I would suggest to take it somewhere else or plan it another time separate. Why not just run some big $$$ stuff outside of this and forget the tournament? Doesn’t seem like anyone really cares outside of money matches for this game anyways.
And just to kill your buzz that much further lol…last I checked GO doesn’t have any non-lagging CRTs anymore. Just a bunch of LCDs and next gen consoles since they remodeled. Are you planning on doing this on DC or PS3/360?

With a tournament this big, I think it’s safe to say this won’t be held at game over_ the store location.
Seemed kinda obvious.
We are actually closing the location for regular business during the tournament. The seating in the back will be moved to the front. The front will be a staging social area. Outside we will have a few tents erected with tables, food, live DJ etc. It will be good weather so we will not have an occupancy problem. IF the tourney gets to really be too big, say over 200 people then we will consider moving the tourney to Boulder Station or Sam’s Town in one of their ballrooms.
