All girls always pick the girls. My one gf loves Zangief, which scares me at times. My fuckfriend sucks at video games period, unless it involves button mashing (oddly enough, she went 84-0 in Dead or Alive 3 against me and a bunch of buddies)
And any girl that is even ‘I would sex her up if I was drunk’ hotness gets +5 for being at a tournament surrounded by some of the nerdiest guys in the world, playing a street fighting game, and doing even remotely good at it.

Girls relate to the girl characters I guess (responding to earlier post). When they see strong pretty women on the screen it reminds them of how strong and pretty they are and there ya go. No girl (or guy) wants to pick Guile I mean come on. He’s about as sexy in terms of his gameplay and looks as a bag of groceries.
Yeah in these hard times people still need their bag of Guile. I’ll admit DaggerG’s Guile is pretty sexy but the work you have to put in to make it look sexy and still probably lose…I’ma buy me a bag of Sagat first. LOL. If Guile did big damage I would use him but…he don’t and he’s not a ninja so no. Plus he still has that stupid mohawk and Small Soldier look about him. Guile needs a fresh cut and a goatee or something.

I have to admit I picked C-Viper my first time ever touching the game cuz I thought she looked cool… but once I found out that all the girls had crappy health I decided to pick a guy character. I don’t usually pick characters that are female in fighting games just cuz I’m a girl… if I picked a female character it’s usually because that character specifically fit my play style. VF5= Pai Chan, BlazBlue= Noel but for SF4 I liked Sagat and learned his moves easily. I’m trying to move on to another character however because I don’t think he fits my play style best, I only kept him because I practiced with him for 2 months and was going to use him for LOSF.
I don’t really think it’s fair for people to judge other people on the characters they pick in SF4… not everyone picks a character just for their looks or tier level. Just my opinion though. I do however think the opposite is true, that some people WONT pick a character just cuz of how they look. Honestly I couldn’t stand staring at Rufus all day so I’d never try to learn him.
Tami was also there the entire tourney but I didn’t include her in the original article. I’m sure you’ll be seeing her in a few competitions soon. :rock:
