N groove with that team is pretty damn good, Yamazaki and Kyo have some pretty nice pop tricks, all of em benefit from running, 2/3rd’s of you’re team benefit greatly from the roll, counter move and counter attack are always nice. Only thing about N groove is that you kinda have to train yourself to use it differently than others. Remembering to break stocks seems simple, but it’s not hard at all to forget during an intense fight.
With that team though, I would probably say Iori/Yama/Kyo (R2) should be the order, but that’s from my mentality being that i’m a lot better with Kyo than Yama. I’d just say stick which character you like better in the R2 spot.
While the damage for the maiden masher is quite respectable, Iori just doesn’t use the meter as well as Yama and Kyo. doing c. lk(2) into the maiden masher can be kinda hard to do at all times (if it even works, I honestly dont know). Yamazaki with a broken stock creates a mindgame in and of itself. You jump, you might eat the Guillotine, if you frag up a roll or get too close you may get super grabbed. And Kyo’s orochinaga combos are just sick for the damage. Iori can use the meter, but the other two use it a lot better.
