Huge thanks for everyone who came out to support our NorCal community! Entry will go back to $5 like originally planned from now on. Hopefully we get a larger turnout next month. October’s event info updated on 2nd post minus the location. I found a few potential venues that might be more appealing for these events, so I’ll be checking them out this coming week. Streetwise participants will now receive further discounted registration on “Tight or Fight” events based on their Attendance Points. Each Attendance Point will now grant $5 off “Tight or Fight” event registration.
I met with the owner @ Francesca’s today and he dropped all the details regarding holding events there. Sadly Streetwise will not be changing locations any time soon due to many complications. I will continue my search and hopefully lock down a spot before December 10th.
What does these mean for October? Quite obvious actually, I made reservations at the ever reliable Round Table Pizza in Fremont. This gives everyone enough notice in advance as to where they will be playing October 15th.
Based on the older bi-weekly tournaments plus the first monthly ranking, I got an average of about 20-25 people to come out. With the new ranking system implemented its really hard to say how many will actually be there this weekend as it definitely draws more interest.
Streetwise will be going through some important venue changes so the tournament that was scheduled for this Saturday will be either moved to a date earlier during the week or cancelled all together. I will keep everyone posted as I finalize all the changes and will try to have additional info up by Mon or Tues. Please be patient as I iron everything out, you won’t be disappointed!
