edit. one of the best streams of 09. it was smooth the WHOLE FUCKING TIME, and today had a great mix of games on the stream, and not just sf4 all freaking day. damn damn damn it was good.

Gotta say, this looked like one of most organized tournies I’ve seen. The stream was A+ and I loved seeing the players get their money before they even got up from playing. Good shit, Norcal. Big congrats to Ricky, taking home the triple crown and John Choi for taking HDR. Good to see Norcal winning their own tournaments.

although i think the game is trash. when you can watch some good players play, along with the tension of all the hype, AND GOOD COMMENTATING, its entertaining. sf4 has something there, and i hope they improve something big with ssf4. dont waste potential capcom. make the biggest leap you can with ssf4. hdr was a bit random and not as hype until the end. shout out to dgv putting on a good show. cvs2 was just a purely display of skill, and 3s too. tekken was free for fab. no one looked good in tekken today except him. rip had moments. well aris did well, but the tekken is real low tier right now it seems. real low. fab one purely off the basics. no tricks. just blocking, and not falling for dumb shit, and blockin lows. lookin forward to better tekken in the future though.

One of the best streams I’ve ever seen. Almost as good as the “House of Cicada” tournament stream. Smooth the whole time, great quality.
As a Guile main, I was super hyped to see Dagger G make 5th place. Too bad I didn’t see any of his matches cause of slow internet at my school and classes
Ricky Ortiz is the shit. He did well in T6 in the triple threat tournament AND he took 3s, CvS2, and SF4 in Norcal Regionals?! Even though he lost in the money match and the team tournament, he won when it counted. There needs to be an interview or something with this guy cause I’ve known about him for almost a decade and have yet to hear him speak.
Combofiend taking 3rd place. I feel like there was a lot of hype for him back when SF4 first started, but after Justin Wong beat him bad in EVO, I haven’t heard anyone talk about him since. Maybe it’s cause real life caught up with him, but it’s cool to see him taking a top spot.
I’m not sure who fought who, but during the top 8 of T6, there was a super hyped match where time ran out mid juggle. So hyped.
