There is no one specific person designated for photos. Terry Ng from Kineda will be present and most likely will be taking pictures but won’t be limited to him only. Feel free to take pictures as you wish.

Anyway, news from the live stream front! The broadcast team got together this past Saturday for our first (and definitely not last) test run and we’ve got a ton of positive results to feel confident about. While we still ran into a lot of technical issues (which is why we have these tests, of course), we still managed to pull off a direct-feed stream, with commentary, off of Haunts’ god awful 0.4mb/s upload connection that was of better quality than every Street Fighter stream you’ve probably seen, short of possibly EVO.
So basically, the stream will be powered by magic and possibly leprechauns should everything go smoothly. We’ve still got a lot of technical hurdles to overcome, but even if everything should go wrong at NCR and we’re down to the barest of essentials, the stream should still look nice and run at a solid 29.97 fps.
But we do need a bit of feedback moving forward from the Marvel vs Capcom 2 players.
Are you guys organizing and providing your own equipment to run Marvel vs Capcom 2? Or is this being officially handled by NCR? Which system are you going with and what sort of video connections does that entail? We’re set for PS3 and PS2, but if you guys are going Dreamcast or something else for MVC2, we need to know. If someone could get in touch with myself or Haunts, that’d be great

And to be honest, I like Bean and Kineda’s photography more. But if Kara wanted to trek up to NorCal and take photos for the event I don’t think we should be discouraging her… (as long as she pays for the trip with her own money :rolleyes:).

Kara’s pics are pretty good. If it weren’t for her, we probably wouldn’t have all the cool photos that we do.
Marvel 2 will be run on DC. Also, the tournament will begin and end on Saturday. The finals won’t be carried out on Sunday.
Chunksta is providing all the equipment for the Marvel tournament. Please coordinate specifics with him.
I’m aware it may be asking for the impossible, but if there is a photographer who can take a remotely flattering picture of me, I welcome them to NorCal with open arms.
However I’ve had no such luck in finding one. :sad:
But anyway, I never said Kara’s photos are bad I’m just saying I’ve noticed other people take good photos too, some of which are already confirmed to attend NCR.

We’re still figuring that out at the moment, I believe. Haunts will most likely be the anchor, and the idea is to pull in at least one special guest per finals game. The plan is to stay pretty legit with more play-by-play / useful commentary than constant meme spam. We’re also thinking of doing a lot of post-game interviews with players, which is something that we haven’t seen a lot of, oddly enough.
You have to understand though. Im sure you probably already know, But she used the gender she doesnt belong to as a way of getting cash money for her trip to japan. And for what? Who ACTUALLY saw those pictures? I dont have anything against transexuals at all, But if they use that whole “Im a gamer chick” idea to get money/free stuff from people im gonna say something.

A lot of girls (not just in SRK/gaming community but just in life) use their feminine super-powers to siphon money from guys. If this is the first time you’ve seen this happen I’m amazed.
