The reason why this is all taking so long to confirm is I am trying to get the venue for FREE and on a SATURDAY. If this was going to be on a Friday info would have been up already. Since Saturday Golflands tend make a lot of money from parties using the party room, they would be giving that up to let us use the room for this event. MGL’s manager had talks with one of the Golfland owners and they said they will have a date set this coming Monday. If everything goes as planned we will get the big party room for 13 hours, on a Saturday and with no venue fee. We’ll see what happens this Monday though. I’ll continue to stay on top of this and keep you all posted.

Depending on how long you’ve been in the south bay fighting game scene, this news may be good or bad.
MGL’s manager “Mauricio” is being sent down to socal to manage a different golfland location. This saturday I will be meeting MGL’s new manager and working together with him for future events including this event. So once again the date will be put on hold. Hopefully this event won’t be delayed much longer.

We have decided to postpone this event until after Super SFIV is released. SFIV was removed from the Main Games lineup on the first post and replaced with Super SFIV. Date is still pending for now, I didn’t get a chance to talk to the new manager due to my job working me like a whore. I’ll try to catch him tomorrow so we can lock one in.
