glad to see gief get owned tho. korea has some fucking AMAZING gief’s. and i thought we had some really solid rufus’s too but defensive ricky with the EX snake strikes on reaction to demon flip took the match!
GB and Infiltration was the match i wanted to see too, but Mike Ross kept it interesting. Seeing the way Mike handled Gamerbee was just too awesome. Hands FADC Ultra? GTFO!!!
It was really shocking to see Infiltration lose to Ricky. I was starting to wonder if Infiltration had problems with the Rufus match in general (Remember he lost to Kindevu at Tuhon), but he looked solid against Ricky, very close match. Ricky just seemed more prepared for Infiltration’s style of play than everyone else up until then. It was the minor adjustments Ricky did to force Infiltration to make mistakes that won that one for him.
I did try to find matches between Infiiltration and Realraiz on Youtube, failed to bring up anything. But all except for that match, and apparently his match with Valle (which I missed), he looked completely in control of all his matches. The States are no longer worried about Japan solely. Turns out the sum of Asia has some sick players, and now we have to worry about Korea and Taiwan as well.

now, i’ll be lucky to come top 16 haha. i’ve played ricky O a few times in mvc2 and once in cvs2. i actually won all the games hahaha
just gotta outthink him! the one time i played him in cvs2, it was a team tourney. i lost to every member of his team but i beat HIM… and ONLY him. and he beat every member of team CANADA, but lost to ONLY me HAHAHA fucking hilarious. and he had beautiful long brown hair at the time… from the back, he looked very hittable HAHA

tao, don’t you have a bank account in Canada you can transfer money from? I think i just transfered money from bank of america back when i played.
actually, now that i think on it, i think i used a third party site like firepay or paypal that i transfered money into and then from there, transfered money into pokerstars.
they got poker at the walker hill casino, but generally, they only have 1 or 2 tables going so you can’t really pick your own game unless you like 1/2NL. players tend to be pretty dumb, but i recall the rake was really high so tough to make any scratch.
Firepay, Neteller, Paypal, Epassporte, and pretty much any third party site is no longer allowed for transfers to poker sites. In fact, Neteller isn’t even allowed to do business in North America anymore.
I think the only way you can do deposits now is e-checks, and some banks won’t even do that. I’m not sure about Canadian banks.
wow, times have changed. my favorite site was partypoker cause everyone there sucked. pokerstars, people tended to be a little bit too tight. twas a sad day when partypoker pulled out of the US market cause of that law.

i’m just a scrub. i do pretty well in my third strike players home games of like $5 or $10 buy ins but that’s cuz they started at the same time as me but never watched it on TV haha.
anyway i did the dumbest thing. pokerstars now deals with this thing called entropay. a virtual reality credit card type of thing. so i tried to pay with my korean mastercard and after i submitted $200 USD they i guess realized it’s a korean credit card and my address is still in canada so they froze my account. now i gotta call samsung card and see if the charge actually went through. and they asked for my passport and shit like that so i’m just thinking it’s too much of a hassle. i didn’t get a text like i normally would but now that i think of it, i only get a text from GMARKET. when i ring in my credit card normally, FUCKKKKKK they don’t text me! shit i hope i’m not down $200 =( i’m kinda pissed fukkkk ZOMG fuck i hope i didn’t get charged!

Well as the title says im new in seoul korea and actually was wondering if I could get in contact with anyone here about finding an arcade or if i can meet up with yall at the exit station and be shown the way if going (not really confident in getting lost on my first weekend here lol). Since today is Friday and I saw in one post that primetime for the arcade is Sat 4-11 im really interested in making it. thank you guys and expect to see yall later
Honestly Jin, it’s not awfully hard to find. Isu is the place to go. Go to Isu station on Line 7 or 4. Take exit 13 out. It will be behind the department store as you come out of the exit (the store is on your left, the street on your right. Only arcade there.
That’s if no one can go with you. I barely speak any Korean and was able to find it just fine. I got a little disoriented leaving and couldn’t find Subway, but asked a few girls wandering the streets and they pointed me in the right direction.
Note: Get lost, ask young people if you don’t speak enough Korean. They’ll usually know enough English to at least understand you and point you in a general direction. And the official name of the arcade is “TM Arcade” so if you can’t find it, you can just ask.
