PS3 games are not region locked AFAIK, so all regional games should work. If that’s not the case, based on Blu-ray region codes alone, Korea and the US are in the same region, so yes, Korean PS3 games would work on an American PS3. And I know at least with Japanese games, they work, as one of my friends has the Japanese FFXIII demo and plays it on his American PS3 unmodded.

Like missing person said, all PS3 games are not region locked. I would also like to add, though, that many Xbox 360 games are also region free. If you only have an US xbox and don’t know if a title is region free you can check abgx.net or play-asia. They will usually be able to confirm if a title will work in your region. Unfortunately you will have to wait until the game is released to find out.

Just a note, I’m pretty sure ALL Capcom titles are region free (and they all have English text support). Super Street Fighter 4 may be an exception to that rule though. The collector’s edition to SSF4 is exclusive to Japan so I wouldn’t be surprised if Capcom region codes those versions. Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t region code those versions.

About $20 for a used one? Maybe less maybe more by $5. If you’re looking for a new one, you can probably only get the Greatest Hits version for about $30.

I think I might grab one should I have the money to do so.

So how much pandemonium was in Seoul when Kim Yun-a won gold? The only working stream I could find was on SBS to watch that ish (because apparently this was generating hype), needless to say I was impressed…but like 2 out of every 3 or so commercials had her in it or were wishing her good luck, apparently she’s the national hero right now, so I can imagine they went nuts.

yo I was in a store when she won… all the workers at the store were going nuts. One chick was literally crying because she was so happy. That’s some serious got damn patriotism

Personally, I wasn’t even impressed with her winning the gold. I think it should been kind of expected at this point.

Have to agree, I was nothing but impressed. I hadn’t seen figure skating since the Salt Lake Olympics (I think I only got to watch Hockey and Snowbording during the Torino games), so I had literally heard nothing about this girl, so maybe if I had heard of her before, I would’ve been that “It was Tuesday” type of guy, but yeah, that was brilliance IMO.

One month, and I’m in Seoul. Wish I had enough scratch to stay more than a week though.
