hey do any of you guys have fallout 3 (korean version) for the ps3, and if so are the menus/dialogue in english?
I have Fallout 3 for XBOX and my friend has one for the PS3. It’s all english for fallout 3 on xbox so I don’t see why it’d be different for PS3. It’s a Korean release so the booklet is all korean but the in-game dialogue and text is all in english.
On the other hand call of duty world at war and Halo ODST have korean text and ODST has the dialogue.
Most games usually always support english text this gen no matter where you buy the game. It just looks at what your system’s language is set to and it sets the game to the same language.
However, not every game has english audio. Halo is a good example of that. I recently purchased Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, and Killzone 2 for PS3. All three of those titles have english audio and text.
Like the person above said, Fallout 3 is only in English on XBox. I think it is safe to say it is all in english on PS3 as well. I would definitely recommend getting that game on 360 if you can’t get it on PC though (assuming you have a 360). I heard the PS3 version has tons of pop in even when installed. The downloadable content is what really makes it better, but the PS3 is going to get it all eventually so it doesn’t really matter at all (and couple of the DLC packs are junk anyway).
Game is best on PC because you can get some ridiculously awesome mods for the game.

i mean my 360 died last month so…yeah not an option. my ps3 slim was in the mail though so it’s all good.
kinda on that note, if anybody has a 360…i have SF4, halo 3 (korean), left 4 dead and GTA4. if you’re interested in any of the games hit me up.

it’d be cool to meet up and play some sf4 in an arcade or at one of our apartments, since sf4 kinda sucks online.
Damn man… there was a killer Sagat player at Isu on Saturday around 4-5 PM I think.
His execution was flawless he perfected me at least once. He was connecting all his link combos, nice damn block strings with tiger knee and baits me to go for a tiger uppercut. He definitely knows his zoning game too. He would always know when to jump over my tiger shot and he pretty much almost always punished me for jumping in on him when he goes fireball happy. I gave up after about 15 losses, haha fuck wasting my money!
I just went ahead and bit the bullet and picked the game up before seeing Ninja Assassin. If any of you get the chance to see that movie, don’t. Rain should never speak English or act in a role that requires him to speak English. The dude is terrible on all fronts. Not just that, the movie made no sense, action was subpar, the special effect blood was atrocious… There was really nothing good about this movie.
Anyway, feel free to add me if you want. I don’t play SF4 as much as I used to though. Too many other games have come out that I want to play. I’ll probably get really into it again when SSF4 hits though.
Man, I am really disappointed with SF4 on PS3 so far -_-
Not only does the game look pretty bad compared to the 360 (the antialiasing is atrocious on the PS3), but the online is awful. I haven’t found one game. Nothing but 1 bars or “no games found”. Such a disappointment

Hey folks. I mainly use XBL since PS3…well the graphics aren’t great and for some reason the timing seems different in a not so good way.
But you guys have to admit, once you find a good connection the competition online is pretty insane. I’m glad I’m playing a lot here, its helped me up my game a lot. When I used to play folks from the US I felt like I was just getting worse and worse having to deal with scrubby BS but now that I’ve had my ass handed to me by some amazing Sagat players, I know I’ve got to put in more elbow grease.
I’ll be on PS3 tonight so I can hopefully catch a few of you. I’ll be online andreRK, lets get some games in!
No kidding about the PS3 timing. there is definitely a few frames of slowdown between the versions (PS3 being the slower one).
Looks like I’ll be over from April 2nd until the 13th or 14th (not sure what date I’m heading back home yet). I doubt I’m bringing my 360 over (if I can, let’s get some XBL matches in), but regardless, I plan to hit up Isu or whatever arcade’s best at least once…unless all the arcade comp dies out when Super hits the street.

That’s where I want to be then, is Isu.

Hahahha! It’s a “chilly” 80F degrees in Orange County. I hear ya on the weather in Korea. I might be back in Osan in February. I thought about packing a couple of light sweaters until a manager told me that it’d be about 30F in February.
