Well in california, I had a korean g/f for awhile, so I think that helped me learn about the “korean chick sub-culture” as stupid as that sounds. I don’t know any Korean worth a shit, and it shows lol. Though I study Intl. Business, so I have a really strong interest in Japanese/Korean culture, society, business, & economics.
I notice that I do one thing always and that’s make them laugh. Just be funny even though you can’t speak their language. No language barriers for comedy lol 
I suppose comfort level goes up and their shields slowly drop.
I still haven’t been to the club yet, but this Friday for sure: I heard at the end of every month (Fri), you pay one fee and get to hop around to like 10 different clubs in Hongdae, which sounds totally badass. I’ll be going with my Korean buddy.
However, I did go to a pretty sick bar in Hongdae with one of those girls mentioned above, and I ended up making out with a Korean girl who was staring me down the entire night inside the bathroom, while my date was there (outside the bathroom of course). That was pretty sick lol.
So I met an American chick from Arizona, who’s an english teacher. She strait up spent like 300 bucks on me the first day we met (we went out the same night), and ended up sleeping with her. Next day she’s talking about wanting to spend the rest of my days with her and stuff… ugh… (same date as mentioned above) She was mad lonely though, and I can understand her feelings… It is HELLA lonely here in Korea.
A combination of alcohol + curiosity + going against a traditional society = easy korean girls perhaps? Maybe…
On another related note, how’s Itaewon? Haven’t been there either
