The compeition is solid, I just don’t know how to play tekken. I can fake it because I know some bnb and basic set ups but I lack the fundamentals and understanding of the game to truly have fun playing competitively. I’m sure this is the country to learn them though. I’ve been a Capcom and Guilty Gear guy all my life.
Hey guys, name’s Joe. Got to Korea a few months ago. Only here for a year tour (stationed at Osan). Decided to hit up Seoul last weekend coz I read about a couple arcades in the first few pages. I found out they were closed once I arrived at the location (isu/sindang) because I failed to read on -___- I did happen to find green arcade in daerim but the only game they have is ttt2 which I’m new to… the only other place I go to nearby is pyeongtaek at the AK plaza and all that place has to offer is tekken 6. Anyone know of any place near songtan?
Edit: I’m also on PSN (same as username) but the only games I have are tekken 6 and mvc2… and I left my stick back in the states so I’ll probably get my ass whooped.
Welcome to Korea, I’m living in Daegu so I can’t help much. When I was living in Seoul, I could only find Tekken machines in any arcade I went too.

Since no one has replied guess I’m just shit out of luck here in Daejeon. Fucking hate it here and at the few arcades I’ve manged to find it’s nothing but Tekken, no AE whatsoever as far as I can tell.
My brother said he’ll ship my ps3 out to me so hopefully I can play on psn soon. Guys, will I have any issues using my US PS3 here? I have a voltage converter and adapters already just in case. Also will I be able to use psn with no problems seeing as I’m in a different country now? Obviously all the people on my friends list are from the states and the connections would all probably be horrendous now that I’m so far away.
I believe the PS3s themselves are universal voltage, but don’t quote me on that. I think I searched once and found them to be universal.
360’s are problematic though, you do have to get a new brick or get a voltage converter.
Yeah I’ve actually read some people saying it’s universal and some saying it’s not so still not sure. The last thing I wanna do is fry my system but maybe if I used my voltage converter that could damage it as well? Guess I’ll have to wait and look at what the sticker says on the ac adapter when I get it.
