That new rekkas are great. I really looking forward to play Kyo even with his new design. Did someone recognized the AOF/Robertās theme? It seems familiar but I canāt really remember from where.
I find really weird that Kensou is the red one and Athena is blue when their color patterns are usually the opposite.
Because in Kensouās fantasy, heās the hero and the hero always wears red.
Good trailer. MuiMui came out even better than I expected. One of her moves reminds of Dong Hwanās Kuusa-jin from MOTW, but on the whole she fights in a way that stands out from any other Chinese kung fu character Iāve seen from SNK. Which is good if SNK ever wants to bring Xiangfei back since no one can claim they are move-set clones.
Kukri⦠he has style. I have to wonder though if heās going to be a hard character to master. His moveset looks huge even based off of the snippet from the trailer, and a lot of his techniques seem to be based around countering and evading. Those arenāt the type of characters that Iām very good with, but Iād be willing to learn in this case.
his voice sounds pretty cool to me. itās a little more low pitched than iād expect from the face and hair. but when he screams and yells it has a cool edge to it that seems to fit his looks. Kinda like adult link in ocarina of time but maybe a little lower in pitch.
and Iori, when he gets hit, he sounds really similar to Kraken from Power Stone when Kraken gets hit.

Kof is a FRANCHISE you play for fun first and every other reason is secondery :).
I dunno, Emil has and still beats me pretty easily. I have to do my best usually to take games from him. If anything, I like playing against him to learn how to get better since he plays super solidly most of the time. Playing against Emil is a litmus test of how solid you are as a KOF player.
Also, nigga, ReoGeoSRK. Let me ask you, are you even proactively taking steps to get better at KOF? Are you applying anything youāve seen from DandyJās or my tutorials? If there is one aspect blowing you up, are you focusing on that one concept and trying to get better at applying it? I mean, I was worse off than you when I started playing KOF. I am where I am now because I stopped, looked around, and applied each tiny concept until I got decent at it, then put everything together for the whole picture.
If you are where you are at your current skill level and quit here, you donāt have the heart or the drive as a competitor. Simple as that. Again, I was much worse off when I started. I had more heart to push forward and get better; and I still have much further to get to the level of Xiaohai and beyond. You donāt have the heart, the vision, nor the tenacity to keep going. That is my merit as a player and as a person. Do you have it?
Emil got me as well. I can only seem to beat him once or twice in a row after every 5 to 10 matches⦠He also exposed me for my bad defensive maneuvers. We began playing on 02UM around this time last year. Extremely gifted player.

Iām disappointed, they never showed off the follow-up for Leonaās D-grand saber. Iām pretty sure I saw her do it once or twice in the PS arena gameplay. I was curious if she would be able to cancel the follow-up into V-Slasher. Also the should have made ex Baltic launcher the version were she leaps forward and crosses up grounded opponents.
Robert can only combo off of the ex command grab and that makes me sad. Rip '98 Robert. Also I cried when the player dropped the ex Ranbu. I wanted to see it so bad.
Disappointed in Billyās climax dm. Was hoping it would be the move were his pole divides into many and then he slams the opponent. Hope he can still do 2B>2B>2B>vault jump> upward extend

As for Iori, are is the rekka loop alive and well? If he can combo Ex rekka into another ex rekka, it might just be. Hide the women and children. Top tier Iori is back on the loose

Also, Iām pretty sure that at one point, I saw someone do a max dm, without being in max mode(ala XIII). If I saw correctly, then this opens up a very interesting trade off. Doing max dms out of max mode could be good for catching opponents off or capitalizing on a stray counter hit or anti air. While doing a dm in mode can be more rewarding because of the increase in combo potential via ex moves. However in the case that you arenāt hit confirming into max mode and are instead going into max mode preemptivly, you are all but telling youāre opponent, āhey get ready for this dmā. Which could be a good think if you are just trying to scare your opponent into playing defensive.
