I wonder why theyâre doing this. Was this part of the original marketing schedule or is this in response to the leak? With this many trailers this quickly, are they going to announce a release date soon? SNK is going nuts right now.
Thatâs my guess too. SNK must already know about the most recent leaks, so theyâre probably going to reveal all the characters quickly and spend the rest of the release build up explaining new mechanics and story details.
Because everybody else is slacking. MKXL just came out but the game is already dying anyway and weâll probably see XI in a year or two. Marvel is dying and thereâs no sequel in sight. KI is getting a PC release and Season 3, but it has a very miniscule playerbase as is. Capcom is slacking on the update and Alex news. Namco hasnât even commented on an approximate release window for the PS4/XB1 versions of Tekken 7
Might as well use this as an opportunity to hype the game up as much as they can, and a constant influx of media and trailers will do just that

They have to reveal 50 characters. Maybe they want to reveal all fighters before EVO and to have there the first playable version with full cast.
I doubt the boss characters will ever be playable(or even revealed) before launch, but having everyone else playable at EVO isnât impossible

Athena looks great, but letâs talk about Luong aka TKD wifey and Nelson aka PR Balrog. They look so cool and Iâm loving the South America stage, canât wait until itâs finished. Nelson reminds of Tj Combo which is a good thing. He seems to have a great balance of Skill and strength, not unlike Heavy D.

Edit: looking at the trailer in slowmo, it is. Itâs jsut the transition between skin and metal that is covered by a scarf thing.
